Better than other brands
Boba stayed more in tact. They are still delicate. Keep in mind they are supposed to be made with almost purely tapioca starch so no matter what, real uncooked boba should be handled delicately. I can’t speak for other people’s packages but mine arrived with each pack wrapped in bubble wrap and the pearls were not damaged. If people think the pearls are oddly delicate then they don’t know boba and how to cook it. Don’t listen to reviews that say the boba is not good because it crumbles (since that is what real boba will do if not handled carefully). Cleanest ingredient list of all boba brands I’ve come across. For the reviews that say it didn’t work then they didn’t follow the instructions. The instructions clearly state to filter crushed boba if there are any and to put it in boiling water (make sure it is a rolling boil). I cannot speak against those who received damaged boba out of the package but from my experience this first purchase was well worth it. Beware of the ignorant comments about tapioca pearls. They are more expensive than buying them from a local wholesale store in Hawaii but they were definitely worth the try and if they are ever available in Hawaii I would for sure buy them.

Not worth it
It is much smaller than others, and does not get as chewy either. Very disappointed, as it was more expensive too.

Yummy boba with clean/fresh taste
Our family loves boba so gave this a try. This is the cleanest tasting boba I’ve tried and sweetness is just right, even without additional sugar syrup added. If it helps anyone, I use more than the recommended amount of water to cook the boba so that the pearls can move freely and have enough liquid left as it cooks to sit in. There is a bit of pearl breakage but imho doesn’t detract from quality or flavor. Shipping can’t be easy ride for these precious pearls 😆

Boba-Goo
No instructions. Sooo, I looked up how to cook them. Tried three different ways. They all turned into Boba-Goo. Do not recommend. Sadness 😢

Clumped together immediately
RUINED A PARTY Because it clumped immediately after adding to BOILING WATER! I’ve purchased this brand before and not had issues but clearly this was a defective batch! Very upset and would suggest to everyone not to buy from this brand! HORRIBLE- no way to get a refund!

So many broken pieces.
For context, I did not buy these to consume, they were used to make safe sensory beads for my son’s friends. That being said almost 1/3 of every bag was crushed and the boba unusable. I was super disappointed to have spent so much money and basically wasted 2 fulls bags with fragments. The kids thought they were super fun but I wouldn’t bother with this brand again, especially for the price.
