Works well, batteries last all winter and it holds a lot of corn. It’s a good deal here on Amazon compared to sporting goods stores. The only downside is that you need to buy the guard or else the animals eat right from the spreader and their saliva can freeze the unit up. Raccoons are able to reach the spreader and eat from the unit too so the guard protects from that.

For a cheap feeder it is well designed. Timed feeders can be problematic in the extreme cold and I'm sure this one will be too. Will probably buy or build a gravity feed tube for it.

Would of given 5 star for easy assembly but gave 4 because it says it included batteries and it did not. Why is the standard more money than the Bluetooth. Who knows
