Everything went as planned. That means expect to spend 3 hrs assembling. I am a contractor so 3 hrs was as good as it gets.Here's what you need to know:You can do it with 2 adjustable wrenches but its going to be harder.Have at least one socket set because 1 of the pully wheels has recessed bolt and nut so it would be hard to do it with 2 wrenches.Have spray lubricant for the glide bar. If not it is tight moving. After the spray it works very well.The directions show the non glide bar as a square top. Actually it is angled. The high side goes towards the seat.The glide bar has 2 sets of holes spaced differently so make sure you have the right holes for top and bottom.Do not install the pully wheels until the cables are ready to install or you will have to take the wheels off again.Wd40 the wheels center steel to prevent rust.Lay out all the nuts bolts and washers.Use the metric ruler in the directions to sort them by their metric size.Screen shot a picture of the model in the ad for the machine for reference.I have a few body solid machines and bought this because they are very good home use quality. Works perfectly.

Wow! Very nice machine. Strong and stable yet light enough to move around. I have very limited space in my one car garage. I am able to just slide it around to where I need it and then slide it off to the side when done.Some other reviewers mentioned there are no instructions. This is 100% accurate. However all you have to do is look at the diagram which shows what nuts and bolts to use and where to affix them when piecing this machine together. Now I am definitely not mechanically inclined but I was still able to put this machine together in about two hours. The installation of the cables might slow you down a bit but I even managed to do that on first try. Do the cables last. Last but not least.....DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY OF THE NUTS AND BOLTS UNTIL COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED. Just in case you screw up along the way.Some reviewers mentioned that the machine tends to tilt forward when using the lower pulley. As I found this to be true, I also discovered that this can be eliminated by simply EASING the pulley SLOWLY back to its cradle. You should be doing this anyway as it makes for a proper lift and forces good posture.Great addition to my home gym. I highly recommend this product.

Firstly, be sure to understand this ships as 2 packages and may not come on the same day. I was not aware of this, most likely my own fault, but don't be alarmed if you get what you think is the machine and you are missing the two tall beam attachments. However, there is no tracking information so one simply has to wait till both eventually arrive.Once all parts arrive putting it together is pretty simple. However, be aware that you must feed the pulley cord through before installing the pulleys. This should be intuitive but I took a second look and hope I am not the only one who paused at this point. This took about 2 hours to un-box, check the parts and put together. I used a ratchet set and surmise not using one would take much, much longer.The pulleys run well and do not create an overwhelming amount of friction. So far both bars that were included have held up nicely (Some lat-pulldown bars are cheap and bend). I am 6'4'' 250 and the range of motion is fine for lat-pulldowns, triceps extensions, seated row, upright row, and curls. Also, because of the plates near the seated row, or where you would stand for curls, pushdowns, etc. the machine does not tilt, move etc. as I have read about with others. the only time I can't get a full range of motion is when trying to do behind the neck pulldowns, which i am not a fan of anyway. Also, make sure you position the seat correctly or it will feel short and bunched, I made this mistake when I first put it in not realizing my error. Regarding weight, this machine has proved to take at least 3 45lb plates on each side, I can't lift more at this time but it feels like the machine is sturdy enough to take more. Thus, this machine works great. One should, however, purchase olympic adapters if using olympic size plates.Lastly, for what you get the price is well worth it seeing as the machine allows for many isolated movements without changing anything other than maybe the weight and a bar. It is worth it simply as a triceps pushdown and curl machine. I would recommend this due to is versatility and sturdiness. As to long term use I can not attest to as of now.

I bought this Lat Machine back in 2009. Since then, it has worked wonderfully, and looks almost as new as the first day I put it together. For serious fitness enthusiasts like myself who don't want the hassle of fitness membership, having pro quality equipment at an affordable price is a must. One of the biggest sellers for me was the Lifetime Warranty that Body-Solid includes with the product. This Lifetime Warranty was recently put to the test after one of the cables broke after six years of wear and tear. I called Body-Solid customer service and spoke to a gentleman named Scott. At first I was a bit dismayed when Scott told me that the Warranty Registration card that I had sent in was not in their system. I told him that I still had my copy of the Warranty as well as my receipt. Scott told me it would not be a problem and simply took my word for it. I have to say that Scott went above and beyond to get me my replacement part to me in a timely manner. The Customer Service provided by Body Solid was beyond excellent. It's nice to have the piece of mind that in the unlikely event that the machine breaks again in the future, Body Solid will remain true to their word and make the situation right free of charge. Service like that is rare in this world, and I will definitely be buying more fitness equipment from them in the future.

He provado la polea de powerline y ahora la de bodysolid, la suavidad es increíble, la funcionalidad tremenda, cae perfecta para hacer polea tras nuca o a pexo, desde las plataformas, perfecto para triceps , 9 sobre 10, no es una de 3 mil pavos de gym, pero casi , le faltaria para mi gusto, el hierro de carga de discos de subida y bajada , unos rodamientos de nylon, hay que limpiar con frecuencia el mastil de inox para evitar desgastar la pieza de plastico por friccion y seria recomendable hacerse con ese cuadrado de plastico si la usas mucho

Superbe machine, solide et surtout hyper fluide.Que ce soit pour le dos ou les bras les sensations sur le câble sont excellentes.Il faut mettre du MD-40 ou autre lubrifiant de temps en temps pour avoir zéro frottements.
