iFiSilentPower Nova IEC Power Cable - Length: 1.8m - [US PIN]

This cable is Supa! Finally a power cable that is active and affordable. I use this on my class A tube amplifiers running in mono and it works perfect. I been hoping they would make a cable like this and here it is! The cable has a generous length so plugging it in the mains was of no problem. Also, the cable is very flexible, especially for it's thickness. I used other cables out there and they where way too stiff putting pressure on the IEC socket. This cable fit the IEC socket perfect and was not loose with the active part being far away enough (about 2/3rds from center cable) from the plug socket itself to not interfere. Finally a power cable I'm happy to spend money on that doesn't cost the bank.

iFi is making a name for themselves with some of their products and this should be one of them. I am using the Nova with a power conditioner and it definitely improved the sound with greater body and resolution, I am even hearing the venue or space of the recording much better. It is wise to use such a cable when you have a decent system to begin with or you may not notice it's full potential. Very happy with mine!

I bought other power cables in the past at much higher price than this one and this is an excellent cable. Fills solid and it is flexible. Highly recommend over other higher price power cables.

I have a very good system and I felt the noise floor was reduced after plugging it in. Some may not like this cord due to the size alone. It is very thick but looks great due to the clear cover. This item has showed up on hi end reviews and compared well against higher cost cords. Great build in this product!

Sorry, I have revise my review here.The more I listened to my system with these powering my Pass Labs monoblocks, the more i realized that they were the weakest link in the chain. Everythig sounded thin and shrill with these power cords in the mix. Removed them and right away the sound calmed down and things got back to listenable. I've sent these back for a refund. Dissapointed in the results given the kudos recived by Steve Huff on his site. Not at all sure why he raved about these. iFi has a good reputaion, but these are not worth the 500.00 asking price. Better options out there from Shunyata and Synergistic.

I have a very expensive system,I had thousands of dollars worth of power cords I won’t name names,never satisfied with the system playback I tried one of these cables on my computer source,I was so amazed at what this cable accomplished I bought one for every piece of equipment it brought back all aspects of audio nirvana great powerful bass most importantly soundstage and balance of instruments all things that are responsible for great musicality,I can listen for long sessions now 🔊👂

It's a fancy power cable. I was hoping it was little more flexible, but overall no complaints. Will you hear things you didn't before? no.
