The Beauties of Nature Coloring Book: Coloring Flowers, Birds, Butterflies, & Wildlife

Audit for my mother who is 93 she absolutely loved it colors in it half her days

I brought this coloring book for my 90 year old mother. She loves it. I see her coloring the pages almost every day. Her primary doctor recommended coloring to keep her mind sharp.

Was given to a homebound relative that has greatly enjoy use.

This is a stunning book. Small and large photos for instructional colors and back grounds. So beautiful I don't want to color in it. Paper is thin and instruction is on front and page to color is on the back, so you have to be carefull what matter is used. Background you have to do yourself on color . You have to page since its not drawn in. You have to add details since its not highly detailed, only onesubject per page. Fish, birds, butterflies, florals, not like shown on front and back cover pages. The only bad thing is my book arrived damaged on the covers, looks used, corners are are bent, paper separating, spine bent.

I have Coloring Butterflies & Coloring Flowers by same publisher Arcturus. This book is even more wonderful. 120 vintage prints on left, matching line drawing on right page for you to color. All plates shown at front of book. Includes flowers, birds, butterflies & a few fish rendered by world famous artists of their time. If you didn't color one page this book is worth buying. Amazon was out of stock so ordered from Amazon seller RICSMAK for under $14 including shipping and received in 4 days!

Absolutely stunning drawling excellent suggestions

If buying this as a gift and then keeping it for myself is wrong, I don't want to be right. Absolutely beautiful! I will be reordering this for the original planned receipient.

The original prints in this book are lovely on a nice beige background; however, the coloring items are simple and with no background to enhance the finished project. Boring! Too bad they couldn't at least make the background paper at least with a slight color. This was not an inspiring project.

Would give a 5 star if the artwork was single sided and some of the pictures had more complete background drawing. The originals had lovely fine background details that are missing in some of the pictures to color which takes away the beauty of the finished product. Would certainly recommend to others as the book is enjoyable just to look at the originals.

Un livre exceptionnellement beau. Le papier est de qualité. Vous avez l'image d'un côté et le dessin à colorier de l'autre. Le seul petit hic est que les pages sont imprimés des deux côtés. Mais pour le reste, tout est parfait. Je n'ai pas encore colorié alors je ne peux préciser si le papier tolère bien autre chose que des crayons à colorier.

I love this book. Beautiful botanical pictures. Can’t wait to start my first one, but so many choices.
