Excellent quality. Grandson loved assembling this car.

Shipped fast with tracking number. Absolutely worth the money. Will be buying more asap. Above car took 6 hours having never built one before. Challenging yet not overly so. Instructions are only for 3 of the 25 models but it would take a large book to include them all. Have to go online for the rest.

I have heard no complaints and grandson loved it.

Difficult to put together.. maybe if I had smaller hands like child sized it would have been a better fit for me.

I was fairly disappointed to find out that the vast majority of the parts are made out of plastic. The back of the box even has a "real metal" advertisement on it but the only parts that were metal were the screws, nuts, the 6 or so washers and the small parts that had a crisp angle to attach two parts together, usually consisting of two to three holes and an angle of 45° or 90°. The old Erector motor has been replaced by a much weaker block of this plastic but has lights incorporated. Lights are white and red for the front and back of a vehicle. Red lights blink like hazard lights when the motor is put into reverse. The gears have also undergone this downgrading process by removing all metal and having a triangular shape that fits the triangular metal rods. The old Allen key set screws have been dropped completely. Gears don't fit together as nicely and maybe it's just that I got a smaller set but there seems to be less gear options, whereas the Erector set I owned as a child had a decent selection of gears, including a worm drive gear, and the gears fit together more snug. Instruction book only has three of the twenty five models in it. The rest have to be accessed online, which shouldn't be an issue for most people. To me, it seems they saw how much profit Lego is making by marking up formed plastic and decided that was the more profitable design rather than keeping what set them apart from their closest competitor, which was an all metal piece set with thin plastic pieces to add curved accents or something resembling a windshield. I take solace in the fact that I bought this set instead of the almost ninety dollar set with the crane as the flagship model.

Sans aucun doute un cadeau intéressant, qui change -pour un ado- de passer des heures sur son portable... Connu et reconnu, du 'mécanno' reste une valeur sûre, qui parvient à captiver un jeune..! Plans de montage inclus, avec le modèle aux feux qui s'allument. Bricolage très sympa et très utile pour nos jeunes. Une multitude d'autres plans sont dispos sur internet, qui permettent d'aller plus loin. Après, bien sûr qu'il est possible "d'inventer" ce que l'on veut (mais peut-être cette époque est-elle révolue ?). Les pièces sont de bonne facture et qualité. Les outils sont adéquats. Je recommande.

Challenging construction. Good manual for detailed guidance. Nice also that three modells can be built. For 10+ years is a true statement.

Purchased two of these cars for a family building challenge. Cannot speak highly enough as to the overall quality of all components, packaging, instructions, fit and final assembled model. Very impressed with the condition of all components after disassembly as there was no deformation or creasing of plastic components. Models were assembled in a challenge situation only to have one of the motors not being able to rotate. As it was integral to the construction it was difficult to check the battery orientation until major disassembly had been under taken, which left one party in a disappointed state.

El meccano de toda la vida, sin ser el de toda la vida. Compré el producto para montarlo con los chavales, por la nostalgia que le despierta, ya que yo tuve uno cuando era un chaval, que por cierto, he acabado comprando de nuevo de segunda mano. El montaje es sencillo y accesible, muy entretenido montarlo en conjunto con otra persona. Las piezas son de plástico, pero se nota que cumplen con el fin para el que están hechas. (ya veremos cómo envejecen). Aunque a mí, nostálgico de lo que yo recordaba, me supo a poco, más sencillo que los antiguos, menos configuraciones, solo puedes hacer coches, antes con un kit montanas una variedad de máquinas increíbles. Quién no espere el producto clásico, adelante, el que quiera algo semejante a lo que era el meccano de los 90', pues que mire en otro sitio. Aún así, recomendable, muy entretenido para montar con niños y casi adolescentes xD. Saludos.
