Kid-O Floating Whale Bath Toy

We once had a proud blue whale in our house named Coco. She was beautiful, sturdy, and much loved by her best friend, The Girl. She swam happily in the ocean, enjoying her freedom to float, dive, and glide in the gentle waves of the Bubble Bath Ocean.Then one day, one horrible day, Coco found herself beached underneath something big and heavy. It was dark, and she was afraid. She heard approaching footsteps: a savior? The last thought she had was a flash of hope, before the terrible beast known as Daddy's Big Butt came down where she was trapped. Perhaps she dimly heard a crunch before she passed into a blissful dream.Coco awoke inside a soft but sturdy paper box. The movement of the box was soothing, and she daydreamed about the wonderful times she had, swimming in Bubble Bath Ocean, and playing with her friend, The Girl. When the box stopped moving, she opened her eyes and she saw light, and over the rim of the box, she saw The Girl. Life was wondrous and good again.»»»»»»»»»Notes: sturdy bath toy that doesn't take in water, floats nicely, and is cute. The body is made of a hard plastic that is strong, but not strong enough to withstand being crushed under a recliner by an average sized adult man. The fins are rubbery.This was the first toy my toddler named on her own, so Coco holds a special place in our hearts (and tub).

i think i must work part time curating bath toys for the amount of time, energy, and research i put in them. we have a small bathroom and allegedly this is a designer's home, so we do not have conventional things (on display anyway).this is a small to medium sized hard plastic whale. it is pleasant. it floats, albeit upside down. even though there is nothing "fun" about it....does not squirt water, does not have a motor, and does not change color, blow bubbles, or sing, it is nice to have a whale in the bath-ocean. it is a character in the background that creates a more imaginative, thorough storyline with which to play during bath time.

Nicely looking; feels modern and classic because it's not overdone. It doesn't take in any water or air so thankfully no chance of moldGood size; about 7.5" length, and about 3.5" high in the front. Hard plastic body and soft rubbery fins. The fins seem like they could break if played with too roughly because of their angle and construction. As other reviewers have mentioned, the tail joint is weak and prone to breakage. The whale does float though turns over frequently. 3 stars as poor construction outweighs the design.

Very cute toy! I was so excited for this item to arrive. It was larger than expected. We are using this toy as a cake "topper" decoration for a custom baby boy shower cake. I will followup with a photo in a few weeks with the result!

The whale is great. Nine month old loves to play with it in the tub.

My little boy loves whales so thought this would make a great add on to our collection. In water it often flops to one side, then it started taking on water from somewhere. Now it weighs 3 lbs but at least it doesn't flip over any more...
