I really like these. They look fancy and hold the heat for a lot longer than a regular mug.

If taken care of, these are the best beverage mugs ever. The double-wall feature means they keep beverages hot/cold much longer than regular glasses/mugs. Even better, if cold beverages are served in them, they don't "sweat" (ever). We prefer this shorter and wider version of these glass mugs because they are easier to hold and to drink from, and they are sturdier. If mishandled, they will shatter, but they are glass. What would you expect to happen?

There are two cups in a package, constructed of high quality, durable borosilicate glass. They are expensive, but worth it. The cups are beautiful and have the J.A. Henckels logo on the bottom. They are made in China and hold 16oz. They are big and are perfect for tea or coffee. From the insert: "The double-walled glasses are dishwasher safe. However we recommend cleaning the products by hand. Use standard washing-up liquid for cleaning, do not use coarse detergents like scouring powder or steel wool. Do not subject the glasses to extreme temperature fluctuations. They can shatter due to pressure, impact or temperature fluctuations. Never place the glasses on a heat source. Note that the contents could be hotter than it may first appear based on the outer wall of the glasses. Ideally, use wooden or plastic spoons in the double-walled glasses, as metal spoons could break the glass. When putting ice cubes in the glasses, always put liquid in first. Only use the items for food products and do not store chemicals or similar in them." These glass mugs actually work keeping tea hot and considering you will use these mugs everyday, they are worth the price.

I really like double walled glasses. I was looking for one to fit in my espresso machine. With careful insertion, this cup works. But I’m apprehensive that one day I won’t be paying attention and might bang it at the top of the cup. They measure correctly. They have a large generous capacity, as cappuccino cups should. And they are beautiful to look at.
