Pushes all the right buttons
This is a great book and an easy read. Bruce Dickinson has a way with words and you can see his sense of humour throughout the book. All combined with a very British sense of understatement and not taking oneself too seriously. The book covers his life from childhood to present day but does not go into crazy detail about the individual Iron Maiden albums or the tours. It becomes clear very early in the book, that there is much more to this man than just the typical rock star life on tour.I found it very refreshing to get an idea of how his very curious mind works and what makes him tick outside of the rock'n'roll circus.

inspiring and an example of being a real rockstar
great book.finally a plain and simple career story without going into all the annoying details worth of gossips columns.interesting facts, funny moments, career and rock history defying moments, a real presentation of himself and what drove Dickinson to reach where he is now.I loved the way it is told and I admire his perseverance, self believes and strong ethic.Of course I am a fan but I didn't like it just because of it. it actually made me even more of a fan and should be shown to all wannabe rockstar out there : on stage you get to play and do what you like, respect it as a real job and live your life like a good human being.
