Worked great. You may need a good set of drywall anchors for the strike plate if the stud is not in the area you need it.

Great product

At first, the catch side was a bit too tight for the latch to go in/out easily/smoothly. But, it was easy to adjust w/ a couple pliers.

Well it's been a couple months and this latch is working great. Two things I don't like is when the metal rubs together, I would have liked it to be quieter and the I wish they would have filed the edges of the pieces it just feels like you could get cut on it.

I wanted this for a screen on my sliding door. It was bigger than I expected, I returned. Other than that it looked like a nice sturdy lock.

Very easy to install, no drill needed, just a screw driver. The material is also sturdy. Took me literally 3mn to install on my sliding door. No need to spend more on lock unless you want to get fancy.

Use it to keep my little cupboard locked where my cat sleeps over night so it doesn't wreck the house, sturdy enough for this use , I wouldn't call it heavy duty however for general use it's perfect and its much better than other similar cheap locks thats either broken or iv sent back in the past
