B&W TS10049B Tow and Stow Magnum Receiver Hitch Ball Mount

Pricey, but really well built hitch. Used all summer, loved it. Customer service from distributor in Alberta was beyond fantastic. When I needed locking hitch pins right away (sold out in my city) they were sent and arrived the next day — with no shipping charges either. Talk about great locking stainless steel hitch pins - I bought 3 from B&W after buying and getting totally fed up with half a dozen different cheaper brands of locking stainless steel pins which all rusted solid and had to be cut off. Wish I would have come across B&W products 30 years ago ! Don’t let the price put you off. You will save time , frustration, annual headaches, constant hitch pin replacements not to mention some real money in the long run. You will not regret this quality Brand purchase if you use a trailer hitch often.

People laugh and think it's stupid to pay that much for a hitch, but who cares? This beefy hitch is an all in one, no tools needed hitch. If you want to simplify your life and are looking for a replacement hitch, or maybe you don't have any yet (like me), then get this and be done with it. No worrying about different drops, ball sizes, having the tools, etc etc. You just plop this in, adjust it, and go. It may be expensive, but you pay for what you get in most products, and this is no different. It appears to be very solid and can't complain. The adjustable part does not come off the hitch at all, so you don't have to worry about it being stolen (you do need a locking pin in the main receiver hole though). The tow and stow feature is also nice so you aren't kicking it every time you come around the truck (you still have the drop assembly though so be careful). Note that the tow and stow does not go all the way up to the top on the back side, but it goes up enough to nicely tuck away the assembly. My only "ding" on this product (which doesn't deserve a star drop IMO) is the fact that someone could come and take the adjustment/ball pins right out and you would be SOL, with the assembly just dangling there. These really should be implemented with a lock feature on them (haven't looked for lock pins long enough for that yet). Other than that, it's pretty nice. NOTE: This is kind of heavy (35-40 pounds it seems) so be weary of this if you plan on taking it on and off a lot and storing it in your truck (like I do). Also, this is a 7" drop, not the 10" drop that is stated. I ordered the 50B (which is actually 9" according to B&W) and it was too low for my truck. Be careful which one you order, you need a decent lift on your vehicle to use the 9" with enough ground clearance.

This hitch is fully adjustable and guaranteed to exceed expectations. 3 ball sizes and enough vertical positions to suit any trailering needs!
