The Shifter's Wish: A Ghost Shifters Novel (Ghost Shifters of New Rose) Paperback – October 18, 2018

I read the synopsis of this book and “BBW Paranormal Shape Shifter Romance” caught my eye. There’s also explicit love scenes and violence?! Sign me up. Don’t judge me. The story starts off slow. You meet Cass, Damon, and Jax. They weren’t lying about those sex scenes! Daaaamn. Sex scenes aside, the story is actually a good one. It’s seductive and also intriguing. I loved what the author did to incorporate shifters with other ethereal beings. The characters are very well written. I have my favorites and I hope they get their own book. This is one of the guilty pleasure reads you can finish in one sitting. I certainly did!Pro tip: Have the next book ready to go after you finish this. I give this 5 stars.

I enjoy the author's writing style. The characters were interesting. There were multiple misspelled words. Looking at the rest of the series.

I like this book I really liked the story I hope. The next one is just as good so here we go

I kinda liked the book but it was rather choppy and kept overemphasizing on things it shouldn’t, like Cass’s hair and weight. Sure, mention it once or twice to let the reader know, but to have it repeatedly pounded into your head throughout the entire book like it was made me sick of hearing it. I don’t care what color the character is, what their hair is like or even what their weight is as long as they are a likable character. This author made it more about that than who she is and that made me quite sad. Especially in this day and age.By spending so much time reminding the reader (because I guess we’re idiots) what Cass looked like and how quickly their relationship progressed just didn’t flow well for me, and I almost gave up a few times but I eventually finished it.I kinda liked Cass but she was rather wishy~washy in that I never really connected with her. I’m not big on insta anything especially in shifter books involving humans.There really wasn’t any time spent developing the relationship between her and Damon & Jax. Yeah, I get that whole “know your mate with one touch scenario” ~ almost every one uses it ~ but there’s no reason, no explanation for Cass to just go along with it.I’m really not sure if I’ll continue with the series because it just didn’t grab ahold of me like a good intro to a series should. Too bad too because the main storyline is quite unique and creative but I’m not sure this writers writing style is for me.Oh, and I don’t understand the title...

Wow! OMG, that was fantastic! What a cool story! This book was hot! As hot as hot can be between two muscle bound hunks of an Alpha and Omega and you are their completion to the Triad. It was a snowy day and Cass had a long walk in the drifting snow to the store for a can opener and some food. As she reached for the only can opener, a hand touched hers for the same one. Electricity went through her body. Who was this guy? As she starts to dredge through the deep snow back home, the guy that touched her came up behind her and offered to help her home, his name is Damon. As they start to walk, a truck pulls up beside them and offers them a ride, Damon's best friend and brother, Jax. The three of them feel like they belong to each other. Could she be the one to change the ghost shifters back? You see the shifters lost their inner beast and they are hoping if they find their mate, maybe, just maybe they can get their beast back. But in the mean time, there is very hot sex going on and your mind is drooling from these scenes. The things they do to Cass is so, I can’t even come up with a word to explain it, you will just have to read it and find out for yourself. This book covered paranormal with the shifters, romance rated xxx, mystery, and a different kind of adventure. Man was it good! I can’t wait for the next one to come out! R. A. Boyd is an amazing author and I really like her books.

Intersting read. Very creative storyline and fun, well developed characters. A few typos that interrupt a little, but I would read more by this author.

What an absolutely awesome book. I just loved all the characters. Jax and Dean were amazing with Cass. This book was full of hot and steamy and I just couldn't get enough. The story flowed easily and I was able to keep up with all that was going on. I look forward to reading the next book as we get to know all the other shifters in this series.

What a twist on shifters. They've been around for so long thinking that the wrongs they had committed earned them near near eternal punishment. Until Cass. She's their third and maybe the way to their freedom. Could have gone lighter on the sex. Still a good read.

Very interesting take on shifter origins and culture. The characters are wonderful, Cass is feisty and funny. Jax and Damon were everything you’d want them to be. There are very emotional parts that had me weeping. Fabulous, just loved it, now onto the rest of the series!

I haven’t read a book about shifters in ages as they are usually not stand alone, and a lot of the characters in them are in their teens. This however, is the exception, with a diverse range of characters that are relatable. Good, twisty plot.
