Stargazer Combo White Foundation And Compact Powder

Ordered 2 days before a Halloween party. Package came on-time, which was much appreciated.I'd suggest doing a test run with this product before you intend to go out of the house. My first go around, I used a brush... don't. The more you spread, the blotchier it gets, and the more layers you add, the more it takes off from your first layer.I had the best luck using a make-up sponge, lightly and quickly dabbing a thick layer, starting from the center of the face, moving out to the hairline. I'd also suggest heavily moisturizing before applying. It really looked and felt dry without it.In the end, I won scariest costume at the party, so I was pleased.

It's not very pigmented, I rubbed the liquid foundation into my skin and it wasn't much paler than my normal skin, just kind of made it look a little duller than normal. The applicator is a plastic paddle thing too that I don't really care for either, but that's personal preference. I haven't really tried mixing it yet, but it seems like it would work for it. The powder is a little chalky with a lot of fall out. Putting the two together still doesn't create a fully white base, but the powder may be okay for under eye brightening if that's the kind of look you want to go for. In conclusion, it's okay. I can make it work with my normal beauty makeup and it can help pale me for special effects makeup, however it isn't a substitute for white face paint. The powder may be a good set for paint though.

I am in love with this product thataylaa brought me here and I am super impressed. it's great as a mixer and an under eye brightener, I would definitely recommend this to all the fair girls out there that struggle to find a foundation that doesn't match just right. I set my under eyes with the powder and highlight the bridge of my nose chin and forhead. don't ever wabna be without it again. thanks stargazer!

All those foundations you have that are just a little too dark, this white foundation is the answer. I have very fair skin, so when I need a concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter than my skin/foundation I'm up a creek with bad concealer. Now I can perfect the hide-your-eye-bags technique.

I bought this set so i could use the white foundation as a mixer for my CoverGirl Healthy Elixir foundation, whose lightest shade is still several shades too dark on me. While the Stargazer foundation mixes well, the final product is really chalky and dry looking. I also was unimpressed with the powder - it settled into fine lines and clung to dry patches on my skin.

Love this for mixing with foundation. My coloring, or lack thereof makes it impossible to find an acceptable shade. This helps me lighten the brands I am most fond of. Weird spatula built not the top. Could have dome without that.

the liquid is extremely unforgiving. Even with a beauty blender, the slightest smudge or pat in the wrong direction while too dry will remove all of your hard work! It's best to mix it with a high-cover foundation for best results. I like glam-o-flauge or UD all nighter for some breatheability.

This worked for Halloween make up but the product is thin and cakey. If I need a white foundation again, I'll probably get something else. All else went very smoothly. Shipping was fast.

Haven't used this for years but I needed a white foundation for a costume which was not a water based face paint and had staying power. I am a little disappointed. The powders fantastic but the foundation is not as good as I recall. The foundation dose not stay on well and rubs off and transfers worse than my face paint. It contains coconut oil which causes an issue for me as I find it can irritate my skin etc and so I had to patch test it and try not to get it near my mouth and eyes which defeats the purpose of buying the foundation to use above face paint. If I'd have known about the coconut oil I would not have brought it and stuck to my original make up plan. Over all its ok but I should just have stuck to the powder as I probably will not use the foundation. Delivery and packing were awesome hence the three stars but I don't think I would buy stargazer cosmetics again. They are not as good as recall and I would stick to other brands I'd give the cosmetics two stars maximum there are other brands with similar colours which are much better.

The best whiteout make up around acts just like a normal foundation with great coverage but its white, can also be used to lighten an exisiting foundation to a lighter shade. Powder is good to aid in contouring as a highlight when applied before/with highlighting powder.

Bought it for halloween, But I actually use the white press powder for highlighting still. (I have really pale skin and normal highlighters are darker than my skin tone)

Always loved Stargazer's cosmetics, a good price too. Only issue that you have to put quite a few layers on to notice a difference in your skin colour, it won't turn your face white and I'm quite pale. Powder's great though, and I would recommend this. But if you want white skin then you need to take a lot of time to put it on.

The powder is has very good coverage..but the foundation is very gloopy and needs a fair few layers. Not great
