Worked perfectly for my faded out black cotton garments
I tried both the washing machine and the stove top way.. both worked like a charm.. each packet is good for 3 pants. Brilliant black color. Will buy again.

Convenient dye, but colour not as expected
Easy to use. I used the front loading machine method. I would have liked it to have a darker blue as a result, seeing as the packet indicates the colour navy. It turned out to be more of a denim colour.

Bought for Military Surplus - PERFECT
Bought this natural fabric dye, without realizing it was not for synthetic fabrics. I used it to dye 1 Military Rucksack, Tactical Vest, 4 bandoliers, and 1 canteen pack.Boiling water in small garbage can, half cup salt, half cup vinegar. This is all I did, with constant agitation of the gear in the dye. I used 2 packs.

Worked well - edit not true to color grey
I used this dye to color some 100% cotton large - tall shirts with pockets for work as I couldnt source the right color (strict work requirements as uniform) in 100% cotton fabric. So far so good. It was about 1 packet per 4 shirts and made a nice solid unform color. No issues with remnant dye in washing machine. Time will tell for dye longevity. I did use the recommended salt additive but not the pre-dye pack.Edit: you need to buy this with idye poly for any blended fabrics and dye together. Flour yellow is true to color. Silver grey is a muddy blue. It is ok i will make it work for me but disappointed its not a true grey.

Follow the instructions online for stovetop!
This dress has been through a lot. It was olive green, I got bleach stains on it and was so sad about it. I wanted to just bleach it all and dye it a new color and chose this blue. I bought 2 packs and used both of them. Thankfully my dress is cotton and rayon otherwise I don't think it would have worked this well. They have other dye for polyester and other material so make sure you're buying the right kind. Exceeded my expectations! You can find the instructions online if you look for the brand and instructions. If you're lazy, it's here:Stove top method:1. Fill a stainless steel or enamel pot with just enough hot water for the fabric to move freely. Turn on medium to high heat.2. Add the iDye (for natural fibers) or iDye Poly (for Polyester or Nylon) soluble dye packet to water and stir.2a. For iDye Poly; open the included Color Intensifier packet and empty into dyepot.3. Add pre-washed wet garments or fabric and raise temperature to a simmer.4. Add one cup (237 ml.)of salt for cotton, linen and rayon. Add 1/3 cup (78 ml.) of white vinegar for silk. Avoid pouring directly onto fabric.5. Maintain temperature and stir frequently for ½ hour (or up to an hour for darker colors or iDye Poly).6. Rinse, then wash the garment with HOT water and a mild detergent and dry.I will be purchasing this dye again in the future if I need something recolored. :)

gorgeous color and easy to use
These packets are super convenient; just toss in your washing machine and go. I dyed a hospital gown and a pair of white slipper socks and even though the socks weren't one hundred percent cotton I still got good saturation.
