I am so pleased with the easy install and the look with stained white pine boards that I’m going to buy a second set for the other side of my wall. Very sturdy and easy to install. Looks great with 10”x5’ boards for shelves. We ripped the width down from the 10” to just about the blade width so that the boards sit flat on the pipe without interfere from the pipe attachments.

The product is of low quality and very expensive. Do not buy it and be lured by the look.

I love how the shelves turned out in my office. They are easy to assemble, I was able to hang and level by myself although two people would have made that job a lot easier. I like how you can configure the shelves how ever your imagination can dream up. I am ordering another one for my laundry room. This will have to be in studs as it is very heavy. The only somewhat negative review I can say is that when the bars are aligned straight to the wall not all of the threads are able to be screwed on tight which makes it a little difficult to hang when they spin around, but that is not that bad and they are still threaded enough to be stable once attached to the wall. The hardest part was finding straight boards, lol

Works great. Easy to install with two people. Very sturdy. The space between shelves is not tall so if you're looking for a place for large books or tall decor, this isn't it. You also have to purchase shelf boards separately, but we live near a small mill so that wasn't a problem.

This is an excellent product. We bought these kits for finished basement storage. I gave it 4 stars because of the installation difficulty. ADVICE: 1) These are industrial style pipe kits that go together easily enough but requires some skill/experience with piping to make the dimensions turn out correctly. 2) When mounting these to a wall, it is best to screw them into a wall stud. You'll need a stud finder and good power drill. We didn't bother with the wall anchor kits - they are not suitable for holding the weight we plan to put on these shelves. If you are only putting a few decorative items on the shelves, the wall anchors should work fine. Most walls have studs around 16"- 24" apart. I mounted each bracket kit on every other wall stud. See advice point #4 as to why... 3) Mount the first bracket kit at the height you want it by inserting 1 screw into the top. Then use a level (flat & perpendicular) on the ege of the top flange to adjust the next flange below it left-to-right. Move that flange until the level shows it's square to the flange above it. While doing this, also check the level of the pipe that the shelf will sit on (the one that sticks out from the wall). Drill 1 screw in that flange. Next, Insert a screw to each flange below after making it level to the one above it so each flange has at least one screw in it. Find the next wall stud over and use a level across one pipe kit to the next (to make sure it's level to the first bracket you already mounted. Then repeat the leveling process you did on the first bracket, from top flange to bottom. When all brackets are mounted and level, drill screws into the remaining holes. For the screw length, I chose 3" all purpose screws, but you could use 2" - 2.5" screws too. Use these longer screws for drilling into the studs, then use 1" screws in the open flange holes that are only going into drywall. I did this to make it look nicer and more uniform. 4) I chose basic 1"x10" finished pine boards. 1" thick allows you to mount the brackets further apart from eachother. As I mentioned, I mounted bracket kits 24" apart because I planned to use 1" thick boards. Any further apart and the boards might start to bow. If you use thinner than 1" boards you would likely need to mount the brackets closer to eachother. 5) If you're not very handy, hire a handyman to do this or choose another shelving system.
