Live up to Hukaiwen's name, very nice ink, as expected.
I always like Hukaiwen's ink stick, this is the first time to use ink. I have to say, it lives up to the Hu's name, very nice ink, no smell, absorbing well and even. Love it, will definitely come back to order more from Easyyou with nice package and fast delivery. Thanks.

I really like this item
I really like this item. Ink is really thick, dark and flows so smooth. I tried many different brands of calligraphy ink , but I like this one the most. I think this one is a great choice for any Chinese calligraphy practitioners at any level.

smells bad
I've never used this type of ink before. Mine came with a black lid, but the outside packaging was exactly the same. The smell is awful! But i love the thick rich consistency, and after drying for about 45 minutes it didn't move much when i got it wet.

Deep dark ink
I like the color of the ink!It has a light scent of grind stick ink, and the scent is definitely lighter than other brush ink.

Great ink for calligraphy and painting
Very impressive ink for the price. I tried different brands and this one gives very nice tones and intensity. The description is right, it smells very nice. The seller is very supportive and informative if you have any questions.

Can be used for writing directly out of bottle
Can write with ink poured out of bottle, without water added. No disturbing scant. Not sticky. Good ink for Chinese calligraphy.

Too watery
Do not buy this product !!! This is water with black color, too watery!

For when you don't feel like ink grinding.
Not bad if you don't feel like grinding ink, no smell (good or bad) but seems a little thin. Although I'm just a begginer so that may not mean much.
