Review: The best pens - Uniball Vision Elite is my favorite pen because: - the glide over paper is very smooth - the ink is richly colored and it dries quickly enough to prevent smudging on paper with normal absorbency - it never skips during normal usage, until the ink is gone - the tip is fine enough for writing small when needed - the flow of ink is generous, but it does not bleed through paper - after four years lost in a drawer, it still works perfectly the moment I put it to paper again Caveats: - It will smudge within the first 30 or so seconds if used on a less absorbent surface, like a greeting card - Not suitable for use on slick surfaces like shiny tape or glass - If the pen is abused enough to damage the ink reservoir, all of the ink can flow out in a few seconds
