Will this work with a vdv501-123

I you mean - Will it work with the Klein Tools VDV501-"823", the answer is Yes it will.

I am trying to find a cable TV coax cable in my walls. Can it find that?

Probably but not by itself. The VDV500-123 is a signal receiver; you will also need a transmitter. Using my VDV-commander for the transmitter connected to one end of the dead cable I was able to detect tone about 6 inches from the cable. Depending on thickness and composition of your walls, it should work.

Will this pick up tone from a Fluke TS-90?

It should. It picks up four (4) different tones that another Klein device emits up to 1500mhz and it shouldn’t be frequency sensitive.

Will this work with the klein vdv526-200 lan scout jr. 2 data cable tester?

Yes, it will! I use it often to trace cables and it does a great job.
