Andy Pandy Bamboo Disposable Diapers Small, White, 8-16 lbs, 36 Count

I love my Andy Pandys!! I currently have a 2 year old in the XL and a 1 month old and have been using these from the very beginning with my first child. When I had my daughter I went straight for the Andy pandys. My children have NEVER had any skin issues or any diaper rash, and I really thank these diapers for that. They don’t peel off the baby or stick to their skin like the other store bought diapers do. The only other bamboo diapers I have tried were bamboo nature and I like these the most. So much that I feel no need to look for others. I’ve never tried honest diapers and sometimes I think it would be nice to have designs on the diapers but that desire never supersedes the act of buying these diapers over others. I love them, my kids love them and their skin loves them! ALSO I think Mother Earth loves them and they donate to St Judes hospital. Like come on, it’s a pretty amazing product. The only criticism I have is that the newborn sizes are a little large for newborns but they will grow right on into them. I have intermittently bought traditional diapers bc I run out time to time and I have to admit I love the way Pampers smell but the others do not work. Andy Pandys do NOT leak, they hold so much urine and stool it is impressive! The absorbency of these are incredible. I read a review a while back saying they leak but they absolutely do not leak! I swear, every other I’ve tried diaper does. You can’t go wrong with these! They are eco friendly, high absorbency, dry against baby’s skin, an overnighter +extra hours!! I can’t tell you have much I love and rely on these diapers.

We love Andy Pandy’s. They kind of run large, which I think helps with absorbency. They’re super soft, so being a little bigger doesn’t rub baby’s skin. Compared to Target Up and Ups of roughly same size (diaper length), the absorbent part is much wider. And I just changed an Up and Up diaper whose wetness indicator was only blue up top, but baby’s skin was literally dripping wet all over, and the diaper’s inside surface was wet wet wet all over. Andy Pandy’s do a better job of soaking the pee through the diaper. For when babies are older and sleeping through the night, any bamboo diapers will start the road to dissolving especially for heavy wetters. This is manageable by using larger diapers (move up in size early). More about our diaper experiences. With baby #1 we used hospital Huggies, Andy Pandy, Bambo, Target’s Up and Ups, Seventh Generation, Honest Diapers. Frankly they were all fine, but that kid was a light pee-er. Andy Pandy’s contained his poops best, I think because of size. Bambos were comparable. Now with baby #2, after the hospital Pampers, we started with Target Up and Ups, but they very often leaked above and around the waist band! Top third of the wetness indicator would be blue, the top part totally saturated and most of the diaper dry. Seventh Generation was doing the same. They frequently leaked at night when he went longer between feedings. When we finally got to the Andy Pandy’s the pee stopped leaking finally. He sleeps for solid chunks at night so we always use these for night.

I'm not one to write reviews but after 7 months of using these diapers I thought I would share my experiences. The diapers are so soft and fit my daughter well. She rarely gets any irritation and when she does it is so mild and clears up quickly. I had one month early on when she leaked through her diapers and I was concerned. However, it now doesn't happen so I wonder if I had a bad batch that month. Even when she has large bowel movements I rarely have leakage. She has been sleeping through the night for some time and I never even have leakage through her clothes or on the sheets. Recently we went on vacation and didn't bring enough diapers. I bought Pampers in the mean time. The difference in quality was so easy to detect. The fit was odd, I'd often find the diapers unction end to her skin as I was taking it off, she ended up with irritation after only 2 days. I was so happy to return home and switch back to Andy Pandy. Lastly, I struggled with the idea of using disposable diapers but as a single mother I worried about the time commitment of using cloth. The more environmentally friendly aspect of these diapers reassured me to some extent. Now the aspect that sometimes the diapers are not available when I need a reorder and I have to keep checking amazon to see if they are available. I understand they are a small company trying to make a go of it. I just wish there were better communication about when items will be back in stock so I can plan. All in all, I love these diapers. I'm glad they are a choice for my family and plan to continue using them as long as the quality continues.

Love these diapers! I wanted to go eco-friendly but I'm not together enough to do cloth diapers, plus my husband pretty much flat out refused to even try so I launched a search to find the best of the worst (disposable diapers). Diapers we've also used at some point: - Huggies & Pampers (both worked ok but smelled like gross perfumy chemicals and apparently spend 350 years in the landfill) - Target's "natural" brand (I forget what it's called but it felt flimsy & cheap, didn't fit well, blew out the top & is not much more eco-friendly than the big brands) - Bambo (eco-friendly for a disposable but blew through 2-3 outfits daily due to disproportionately wide circumference and lack of elastic in the back. They also required frequent peeking & baby bum squeezing due to lack of wetness indicator line) I finally settled on the Andy Pandy diapers. They are ridiculously soft, bamboo is a renewable resource, high enough percent biodegradable to partially assuage my environmental guilt, no stupid cartoon character prints (c'mon, who really needs Grover on their baby's butt?), and most importantly they work. No blow-up-the-backs like I constantly had with Bambo. I checked these out on the baby gear reviewed website and was surprised to find that they got low marks for absorbency and price. My experience was way different, for my baby they work perfectly, have never leaked, and seem to cost around the same as Bambo on Amazon. I have no company affiliation, was not on any "free product for review" scam like I'm seeing so often now (boooooo Amazon, don't take the objectivity out of the review process!). I just really love these diapers. A quick note on fit - the newborn size says 5-10 lbs but they still fit my 10.5 lb baby pretty generously. I tried the next size up (Small) that says 6-16 lbs and they are way too big so I'm saving those for later and re-ordered the Newborn size. Maybe their sizing chart is based on the chubby baby in their picture?

Thank goodness we found these diapers! After our previous beloved Bambo brand reformulated their diaper we were desperate to find an alternative. We tried Andy Pandy based on a recommendation from another review and we are so glad we did! We had tried many different brands before finding this one, including Honest, Earth's Best (not bad but leaked every night), Seventh Generation but several caused rashes and many leaked. We never thought we wound find something as nice as the old Bambo, until we tried these Andy Pandy diapers! These diapers are SO soft and silky due to the bamboo. They a little thinner than the old Bambos but we were pleasantly surprised to find they are very absorbent with NO LEAKS in the morning! The best part is our daughter seems very comfortable and no more rashes! And we love that this brand is eco-friendly and supports St. Jude Our daughter is 17 months old and about 24 lbs and is wearing size 4. We got the large and they fit very well. With comparing the large Andy Pandy, it is about the same size as our Earth's Best size 4. UPDATE 1/21/2014: We have now used these diapers for 4 months and we have noticed some issues. The diapers are soft but they are also friable, it comes off on the velcro of the tabs and then won't stick when you try to put it on. Several nights our baby has woken up with the diaper completely off and we've resorted to taping over the tabs overnight. It also leaves wisps of diaper particles on our daughter's butt. Also, the diapers often leak overnight, they are not as absorbent as the old Bambos. That being said, it is still gentle on her skin with no rashes so we will continue with these unless we find another alternative or the old Bambos come back (please!).

I have tried bambo nature which I like but are even more pricy, also run very large so can't start using until later on, even in newborn size. Pampers swadddlers give horrible bleeding rashes and are an incredibly fake scented product. Naty babycare diapers are healthy and contain blowouts, but full pee diapers turn outer covering damp and the clothes get wet plus they feel like construction paper and are rough and scratchy exterior, tabs are picky too. Tried these Andy pandy ones and they are unbelievably soft including tabs and stretchy. However, they are still a tad on the big side for my newborn. He is two weeks old and currently just shy of 9 lbs (not scrawny legs but not chunky ones like our first child's were). The thing with these I'm not in love with maybe because of shape of my baby is that the cut is very wide. So even though the diaper is stretchy, there is only so much width you can cross over before leg elastic so start being drawn up too high and get overly tight. So the waist is a bit baggy always and there is a bit of space under the waist band where it crosses over the legs. So a great diaper, but might need to wait until your baby chunks up....definitely not a brand new average newborn stage diaper. My son was 7 lb 12 oz at birth and no way these would have fit then. My first child was 9, 5 and would have comfortably fit these. (Whereas he had to wait even into the high 10 lb range before the bambo nature size 1 started to fit properly....bambo nature is a taller rise diaper as well). UPDATE 02/08/2016 - have been using these Andy pandy diaper in newborn size for maybe a week or two now....LOVE THEM! I still find the cut is too wide in proportion to the height /rise of the diaper. But they are such a silky soft diaper. And contain all poops and pees, outside doesnt get wet. As the baby wears them, they really mold to the baby's body nicely. Though I don't really need the feature, it is awfully nice to have the wet indicator strip in the front. And I didn't realize that the Naty diapers I was using was actually causing my baby to have a generally reddened skin all over his bottom half. When I started using Andy pandy ones, That cleared right up and went to normal, healthy, pink baby skin. I wonder if it is because naty is using corn/and possibly wheat in their diapers? Maybe he is sensitive to that. FYI - not sure how much he weighs now (maybe about 10-10.5 lbs?) but he is gaining fast and filling out. He still doesn't have thunder thighs, but he is a month old now and I have purchased the size small instead of newborn because I need more space in the rise as the poop is getting very very close to the top of the back diaper though the newborn size still holds it in but I'm not going to push my luck. Please, Amazon, bring these into subscribe and save and I will definitely be buying these as my main diapers!! Since they are more than bambo due to subscribe and save discrepancy, I will have to alternate between the two though I believe I prefer Andy pandy at the moment. ------update 5/13/2016 Yay! These have just been added to subscribe and save!! Thank you!! For anyone coming over from bambo nature, we are now using these in medium. The medium fits larger than bambo size 3 but smaller than size 4 (bambo seems same width but taller in size 4). My son is 26" and 15.5 lbs, 4 months old. I used bambo for a while then came back to these with subscribe and save. These are markedly softer and thicker quality. The gusset at the back is a really nice feature these have, bambo does not and I live in fear of poop up the back with bambo. It doesn't seem to happen though with bambo but I think it is because I have him in size 4 (the threes are too tight when they get peed in) and they are so tall the diaper is nearly at his ribcage. When I asked my husband which diaper he preferred, he said probably the yellowish one (the Andy pandy are a yellowish color), he said "they have a better fit". These really do, they contour perfectly with our baby's bottom. I'm still quite pleased with them. (As a product suggestion, it would be awesome if this company also sold a version of these diapers as disposable diaper inserts for cloth diaper covers for people who use hybrid systems. It is maybe cheaper to manufacture what is essentially a large gusseted maxi pad ? and people who are trying to save a little extra but need the convenience of disposable for outings, trips, travel, plus having healthy non toxic diapers for their baby could go that route and still be an Andy pandy customer.) -last update 05/20/2016 So.....my baby is developing a diaper rash from these. Red dots that look like heat rash (but isn't) and keep getting redder snd redder and more and more of them. Skin puffing up. He had been getting that pretty badly a while back, but I couldn't tell what was causing it. I had a break from Andy pandy for a couple weeks and the rushing went pretty much just about away when I started them back up, within 48 hours, it was back. Is it the aloe liner? I am so depressed. I love everything about this diaper. I guess baby decides otherwise. Don't let this discourage you from trying this diaper though. Every baby is different, and my babies have had insanely sensitive skin and always been borderline rashly. *i just got earths best and honest diapers and within a day of wearing them, his rash is like 90 percent better already. I will have to donate the rest of my opened pack.*. Amazon was WONDERFUL about free returning the second pack I bought (unopened) because they were causing my son a rash.

My baby is now almost 7 months old and I have yet to find any other diaper brand that beats Andy Pandy for the following reasons: - It is sustainable and non-toxic; non-toxic baby items are very important to me, especially diapers considering they are ALWAYS on baby so the fact that these are free of chlorine, PVC, phthalates and other harmful chemicals/toxins are a huge plus. - It's super soft and silky unlike the paper-y feel of some other leading eco brands - Not once did my baby get diaper rash - We use it for overnight (12 hours) as well and there has not been a single leak/explosion - The blue line is very helpful in indicating if the diaper needs to be changed - It is biodegradable…thinking of the sheer number of diapers filling up landfills is enough to make one's head explode which was why I originally wanted cloth diapering BUT we live in an apartment building that shares washing machine/dryer. We have to walk onto the street and into the side of the building to do laundry so it just too much. Andy Pandy makes me feel less guilty for using disposables (we also use biodegradable diaper bin liners). Cons: - It's expensive but ends up being less than a cloth diapering service per month for us so it's worth it. Plus knowing it's sustainable and environment-friendly makes me happy so I'm ok with paying extra for that. - It's not part of the Subscribe and Save…so Amazon powers-that-be: please make it happen!!! All in all I'm so thankful I found these diapers and I hope it will make its debut on the Subscribe and Save program - yes I said it again.

I love everything about these diapers except the fit and so it seems I will have to continue to look... They are super-soft, seem to keep my son’s super-sensitive eczema-ridden skin happy overall, and they hold everything in, as long as they stay situated on him :( He’s an average size and build for an 18mo, at about 23 lbs, but the Large are just to big. The elastic leg often gaps, and if I pull the tape tabs super tight where the tape overlaps themselves to remove or mitigate the leg gap, then the wings slide up or down (see pics). These photos were taken after maybe 15mins of wear, and half that time spent nursing. They are so soft and as far as construction hold up great (compared to 7th gen and Honest co who seemingly shred up or lose their pulp quickly). We change diapers often, after every soil as soon as possible, so that’s not the issue. The size ranges of Andy Pandy diapers for my guy just don’t serve him/us well. I wish the weight ranges overlapped a little more. I’m considering trying a sample pack of mediums off their direct website, but feel fairly certain they will be too small, particularly with pee volume. I am really disappointed. Maybe we’ll be back in 2-3lbs, but hopefully we’ll have found something else that will work for us before then.

Great diapers. Love the simple look. Soft, very breathable with strong snaps. No leeks. Works good also overnight. My experience is based on 7 month old baby who has started solids and drinks 150ml in the middle of the night.

I wish I found these diapers 2 years ago when my 1st son was born!! These diapers are so soft, great fit (accurate sizing) and very durable. My 10 month old sleeps through the night in these without any leaks. I will be a loyal customer of this brand and recommend them to my mommy friends!

These are amazing diapers, they are extremely soft, absorbant and I feel much better that they are organic and biodegradable and made out of bamboo.

I can't get over these nappies. We tried them on the advice of our GP who said to try hypoallergenic nappies (our daughter just couldn't shift what had started as a fungal infection). Within a day it was starting to clear. The nappies are so soft and never leave skin clammy. They're extremely absorbent without getting bulky. I'm never going back to Pampers again

great!!! however since my baby sleep on its tummy through the night, when it wakes up in the morning, only the front side is wet and the back portion of the diaper is completely dry! womdering if I should have taken a smaller size??!! But how is one to risk the price of the diaper and buy a big pack and hope that the size would be appropriate?!
