... the fact that Rass Kass is one of the greatest of all time
Four stars simply due to the fact that Rass Kass is one of the greatest of all time. Wished the producer would have stayed off the mic. Have always preferred Rass Kass on the slow to mid tempo tracks due to his insane lyrics. While I gave it 4 stars I was a little let down by the beats for the most part, especially the faster joints.

Another gem from Mello Music Group this year.
Grammy winner Jack Splash and Hip Hop veteran Ras Kass come together to make Semi Hendrix - Breakfast at Banksy's. This album is excellent. Every song sounds different and has tons of energy. Ras Kass, as always, has clever, funny and hard hitting lyrics, while Jack Splash manages to hold his own on the mic as well. The beats are exactly what Kass needs to match his intensity. Get this album. Mello Music Group is on fire this year with every new release.

Blasphemy has more bangers.
Feels like an album built around Jesus Pressed Mute, which recalls that old Ras Kass volcanic spit. I don't know who the hell Jack Splash is.

Semi Hendrix (Ras Kass + Jack Splash) have an amazing 'Breakfast At Banksy's'
Excellent album. Ras Kass and Jack Splash make a magnificent hip-hop pair. Ras Kass provides the fire lyrics (don't miss out on his raps smashing the wealthiest one percent and black buffoonery), and Splash brings just irresistible music through and through. An honorable mention of all the hip-hop/rap albums from 2015 for sure. Perhaps not a classic, but very good indeed.

Honestly this is my first Ras Kass album i've purchased since his debut LP Soul On Ice, which itself was a fantastic album... Was pleasantly surprised with the range of influences they tap into to produce a really solid album. "M.A.S.H." f. Kurupt literally borrows the M.A.S.H. theme for the beat. One of those, why didn't anyone do that before moments. Other standout tracks include the hilariously named "Waterboarding Tinkerbell" and the closing track "Can't Give Up Now". Check this one out if you like a lot of variety on one album.

this artist, is like, when you know that you don't have to listen to it, before buying it, type of artist. And I was right on this album two. Always on point, and he never disappoints.

Great to hear rass finally getting decent production. Few filler tracks but long may this continue. Always fancied him teaming up with dj muggs for an album.

Rien que pour l'objet, ce double vinyle vaut le détour. En plus le "son" est magnifique ;-) Je l'ai offert, mais maintenant il me le faut.
