Works very well! Be careful when you tighten down the nut onto the bar. The metal is relatively soft and will tear up inside the track if you torque it too hard! It was difficult to pull the screw closer to the middle after I twisted up the metal a little, but I wiggled it out with some work. GREAT PRODUCT!

So far so good. Week 6 and going strong. Very rugged.

A necessary evil for my hlg 600 rspecs on light rails. If there was a better way, I'd be doing it.

Tried several times to make this... couldn’t ever get it to tighten down strong enough that the first snag wouldn’t turn my light 90°. This is a simple but elegant solution. Takes up the most minimal vertical height and can really tighten down. Suggest you take the car off the track when tightening or risk bending track or car housing.

I feel like this product is only useful if you really need to spread out your attachment points. I run KIND K5 XL1000 lights and am able to attach my lights directly to my lightrail, with identical hanging results, as with the Robo-Stik. I am giving this 4 stars because it is well made and does what it is supposed to do, but i find the mounting hardware could be better thought out and more robust. Just make sure that you actually need this to mount your light/hood before you order it.

Works as described. Took me about 5 minutes to level properly, but works like a dream after proper balance. NOT silent, get vibration travel through joists that it is mounted to, but I don't have anything illegal to worry about. Not a bothersome noise however. Recommend for perpendicular mounting.

Does everything it is supposed to do. I thought I could make something similar with a piece of conduit to save money. This thing is fully and easily adjustable. It's worth the money to me.

Has been up for about 6 weeks running fine. Have it installed parallel to track (as they recommend), after some time passed the light weight screw they provide to attach robo stik to motor bent about 10 degrees and let the whole setup slide off the track and onto my plants, killing one. If you do not have it installed AND balanced absolutely perfectly (within milligrams) then its lightweight and janky. Also, adjusting the light height inevitably will cause you to put imbalance into the setup, I imagine every time you do this it bends the screw a little more as well. cheap product (at least cheaply made :/ )

If you plan on using a Light Mover then you should have one of these. With this you are able to distribute your light a lot more evenly. Now I'm able to get light to every square inch of my tent, which will translate into a larger crop. Highly recommend this item.
