Chrome Guitar Roller Saddle Bridge Tune-O-Matic Bridge Roller Saddles Set for Les Paul LP SG Electric Guitar Chrome

I bought this to replace the bridge on a Bigsby-equipped Gretsch - the one shown in the photo would have been OK but I was very disappointed by the one I received. The bridge is advertised as chrome, and are shown as chrome in the photo, but the rollers were in fact brass. The photo shows the support posts as being wide but they were in fact quite narrow. The bridge received was quite tall overall and therefore raises the action to an unacceptable level even when the support posts are screwed right down.I shall be sending it back.

I was told to order this by a customer as part of some work I was doing on his guitar. Somebody had told him it was as good as a Tonepro. It's not. Granted it's under a tenner and fits but is definitely not suitable for any half decent instrument ie Epiphone std etc.One major issue is that the rollers add about 3mm to the string height so unless the posts can be lowered by that amount your stuck with a high action.Save up and buy something better.

If you look at the photos in this listing, 1,2,3, and 6 show a different item to 4 and 5. I received the item shown in 4 and 5. It is totally unfit for purpose. Even adjusted to its minimum height I have a 4mm gap above the 12th frets which is totally unacceptable.
