This is a beautiful, high quality nail polish. The color is a very unique warm, rich berry tone. It’s long-wearing and comes off easily, which I like.

Could not find this nail polish in this color anywhere in my area. Leave it to Amazon. . .

I have very light skin and have a hard time with some reds but this would look great on all skin tones. I think maybe it’s the blue undertone?? It also lasts long as their polish normally does. Everyone thinks I get my nails and toenails done because they look so good.

Cajun shrimp is a bright (almost neon) reddish coral pink. It is predominantly orange-pink rather than red. On my nails is a true red (OPI Big Apple Red) for comparison. Cajun Shrimp is gorgeous, especially on warm skin tones.Also, lovers of vintage Cajun Shrimp formulas will be disappointed. It has been changed. Older versions of Cajun Shrimp were a red-orange jelly. Current formula is more of an orange-pink creme (opaque). Since it's no longer a jelly, this will not have that glossy, juicy finish that it had before. It's a shade worth having in its own right though.For the best chip resistance, I recommend using Orly Rubberized base coat and cap your edges: paint over the free edge of your nail, before painting the top. I use ILNP Glass Candy top coat for a rock hard, glossy protective finish.
