This is great for traveling. Obviously, the quality isn't going to be the best, but for the price, this is definitely worth it.

Great product. Arrived super fast. Other reviewers had damaged products arrive, but I ordered two and they were clearly new, no tears or anything. The compasses work. There are even little weights in each corner of the mat so they dont fly away if you're praying outside!Only downside is the zippered area is pretty narrow so it's a little hard to stuff the mat back in the bag. It would be better if the zipper extended down both sides a little.

I always admired the ability of certain people to pray wherever they needed to. A friend of mine once used one of these while we were in a laundromat. Back then, I didn't really know how to pray salah properly, so I felt too shy to borrow anyone else's rug. This was my own, very first prayer rug, and with it, it really added to my own experiences, spiritually. A prayer rug and making wudu honestly really helps to create a space where it's just you and God. I finally learned to pray using this mat, and even though I bought myself a woven fabric type prayer rug this past ramadan, I still carry the travel one with me and I am grateful for it. I also sometimes keep my prayer beads and soft cap and a turbah in it.

I love the size so I can throw it in my purse when headed out.. comes in handy for the Eid as well. I love that it also has a compass so you know what direction you are to pray!! It is waterproof for rainy days.!

Surprised my husband with this, as we will be traveling during Ramadan. He loves it. For the price and the purpose of it, is fine. Not for everyday use. The print can easily scratch off so handle with care. The compass doesn’t work. Also my husband and I found it hilarious that the city list that came with it spelled Cairo as Gairo. Haha but it’s perfect to have in my purse for him. The shipping was very quick. Overall happy with it.

It’s not soft like a regular prayer mat, but it’s very useful and I use it all the time. Only, it had a very strong synthetic smell straight out of the package, but that was resolved with a light hand wash.
