super lightweight, airy and always protective of my ears. long-time injury to the top of one of my ears was the reason for my interest in these for protection. Even in warm weather they have been perfect and nice to have three so as to switch out to wash. Care has been easy. I always hang dry in case. purchased add-on helmet visors for sides of my head just don't hold up in even milder breezes for my larger sized head (and this synthetic material could easily comfortably fit much smaller too). This has done it all. Very satisfied

I was initially very sceptical about these neck / ear protection caps as I anticipated that they would make me feel hot but was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually had a cooling effect. They wick away sweat really well which then cools as it evaporates. I sweat a lot so use it in conjunction with a Halo II sweatband. They may not be much of a fashion statement but they are functional and work really well.

I was pleased with this purchase. I do a lot of bike riding here in Florida and the sun can be brutal. I'm hopeful this product will help keep my neck and ears protected. They are light weight and fit nicely under my biking helmet! I can't say I'd win a beauty contest, but I won't suffer from a bad sunburn!

Covering my neck was the objective. Summer riding in South Texas can be brutal unless you ride before 7:00 am; I do not ride that early. After trying several other types of "protection," this one does what I need it to do. I soak it before my ride, and during the ride, it does not flip up with the wind exposing my neck. It does exactly what I need it to do. I rotate between all three. Soaking first, then putting it on for the ride is my combination and it works great for me.

These fit extremely well underneath my helmet, so that is great. While they protect the sides of my face from the sun, they are a bit short, so don't protect very far down on my back, leaving exposed skin just above my collar if I'm wearing a T-shirt. Also, if I would pull them all the way on, they'd reach down over my eyes, but it is simple to leave the liner up so the band fits right at the helmet band. If they'd been longer and a bit fuller, I'd have given them 4 stars.

They absorb sweat well, preserving my helmet pads longer and reducing the cleaning frequency for them. And they keep my neck from the sun.Basically everything I was aiming for. I bought a second pack.

It's like wearing one of those cheap Halloween costumes on your head ... they do not wick sweat or heat from your head ... more like you'd burst into flames if you got too close to the fireplace.

My dermatologist said I must be better at protecting my ears from the sun when I'm riding. It's important as I spend 200-250 hours a season on my bike. I tried wearing a floppy hat but it was too cumbersome and certainly not aerodynamic. I then tried this liner and really like it. It protects my ears and neck but does not cause additional heating, in fact it feels cool. The only downside - it looks pretty dorky but it's better than crusty ears!

If you work outside these are a great deal, my husband works on roofs and they saved him from sweating and getting his neck burned in the sun, Highly recommend, was and dry great no shrinking
