This book is a beautiful piece of work - hard back cover, feels nice in the hands, the text is visually pleasing and it has fantastic coloured images inside. Original Sanskrit writing, English translation, explanatory notes and a detailed index. I love the Bhagavad Gita, and I would recommend this printed version to anyone as it really is very special.

This I bought for a friend and they said it was wise to keep a open mind when reading as it does draw your attention away from metrial gains from the Vedas the Vedas compared to this is the same it's just as good so just different methods of finding bliss but none are wrong so enjoy both books

I read so many translations, with author adulterated sentences. But Srila Prabhupada has written the true essence of gita, thats the reason more people are attracting towards krishna.

It is with great joy, that i welcome this sublime translation and edition of the Bhagavad Gita. I was raised in the Hindu tradition and so was familiar with a few other translations of the Gita. But each edition, in my opinion, was polluted with the author's own opinions. This edition, as Srila Prabhupada rightly says, presents this great scripture AS IT IS. Krsna is indeed the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and this version of the Gita makes that so abdundantly clear. Thank you Prabhupada for toiling in your late years and giving this world this beautiful scripture.Additionally, this work is a special gift to the scholar. With roman translitations, word for word synonms etc,, this is the perfect edition of the Gita.Anuj

The book is great. It has the original text and the litteral English translation on the bottom with explanation. It help in the understanding of the scripture. The shipping was done in a box that was securely packaged.

It has 3 layers of translation which is great. You can read the real verse from the orginal text along with its exact word to word translation & a seperate meaning translation which is followed by a purport of understanding the same verse by the author.
