I like having this simple replacement cable for my hf r800. It works great after I plugged it into a higher watt battery pack that can power most of my devices on the go.

El cable queda algo flojo en el entrada de una canon vixia pero sabiéndolo acomodar carga bien.

I've lost my battery chargers for my Canon VIXIA HF R62 and R600. We are going on a trip soon and I wanted to be able to take these with. I found the TKDY CA-110 USB to funky Canon plug and decided to give it a shot. I was sceptical because the original power adapter/charger output 5.3 VDC, and this would only provide what the USB power source would, and that for normal USB 2.0 is 5 VDC. I tried this first with an older 1A charging block, and while it would power the camera it did not charge the battery at all, with the camera on or off. I then switched to my power strip that says it can output as much as 3.4A, and that allowed the battery to charge. I have a non Canon BP-727 and it charged a little more than 50% from dead in 30 minutes. I'm glad that it works.

Rather than buy yet another power brick attached to a funky non-standard/uncommon/proprietary connector, I was pleasantly surprised to find this cable on the 'zon that adapts USB power to some Canon camcorders. I appreciate that this gives me freedom from plugging things into the wall.
