To enhance the antioxidant properties of my moisturizer, I added 0.5 grams of ethyl ascorbic acid powder I got from an 1 oz bag plus the alpha tocopherol acetate (vitamin E). After shaking everything together, I let it stand for a few days to allow all ingredients to completely dissolve, occasionally shaking the mixture. I ended up with a lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturizer. I feel it works better than any of the commercial products I’ve tried. It’s free from unnecessary chemicals and additives, easy to make, and has become a staple in my daily skincare routine. Plus, I know exactly what’s in it.I got a 2 oz bag of 99% alpha tocopherol. I see it is a USP and cosmetic grade vitamin E powder. It’s described as crystalline granular and on the package I see it’s non-gmo, gluten free, vegan and non-irradiated. It’s a fine white powder and I see on the package the claim that it is a skin-conditioning agent and an antioxidant. Near the bottom I see it’s distributed by Talsen Chemicals in New York, NY along with a phone number. I don’t see any expiration or best before date on the package.

It mixes well with water to use for my skin. Makes it feel soft. Good quality ingredients and good company. Didn’t come with instructions, but easy to look up info. Didn’t make my skin hurt, usually my skin is sensitive to everything. Would purchase more in the future.
