Mirthas Herbal Fresh Shampoo 16oz

I went looking for the original herbal essence shampoo to discover that its not available at all any more. I found this product by reading reviews so I decided to take a chance when I found it on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it smells really close to the original. It is a great shampoo for my hair plus I get that familiar scent.

The best substitute that I have found yet for the original Clairol Herbal Essence shampoo. I think the yarrow is the secret ingredient that smells so wonderful!

I bought this because a number of reviews said it smelled like the original Herbal Essence Shampoo from the 70s. It smells NOTHING like the original! It smells more like the baby shampoo I've bought at a dollar store to wash my dog. My dog will be washed in this $16 shampoo next time. Not the sellers fault, but I'm disappointed it doesn't smell even remotely like the original.

It smells like the old green Prell shampoo---not at all like herbal essence. Nothing herbal about it. I am sure it will work like any other shampoo. With all of the people out there clamoring for the 70's fragrance, you would think that one of those shampoo companies could reproduce it. A few years ago Pantene had a shampoo that smelled really close--but that was discontinued too.

This is a good quality shampoo with a great fragrance. I have been looking for a shampoo that smells as good as the original herbal essence shampoo and finally found it. Too bad clairol doesn't bring back the original scent.!
