I ordered this light for my little utility trailer. I tried it out before installing it and it's considerably bright! Way more than what I need for a side marker light. It even looks like it's pretty well sealed. I HOPE that it actually is, but only time will tell. I gave it a 3 because of the mounting bracket (PLASTIC). You are supposed to screw the bracket (junk) to your surface, hook one side of the light in place, and wedge the other side in place until it pops in...AKA blow up in your face. So one side of the trailer went on fine, but now I'm wondering at what point is the "good one" going to fall off because it's a utility trailer sitting in the elements all its life. I took a picture of the bracket and the fix I have for it. My thought is that if the zip tie rots off I can always get another one, pretty much anywhere, and I'm good. No, I did not try to return this or acquire another bracket so I can't give customer service reviews. I already had all the wires stripped, it's pretty cheap so whatever I guess, and I didn't want to bother with another one of those brackets. So there it is as shown. If you have another way to mount this without using that...thing....then the light itself is good for the price.

The screws included are garbage and will not work on any galvanized trailer much less sheet metal. No big right just use my own screws or self tappers. No.. the design of the light mounting bracket is trash and will not allow for any type of screw with even the slightest head. The wiring design is also garbage. the lights are just an all around disappointment and were not designed for a boat trailer despite being advertised as such...If your mounting these to a wooden non submersed trailer then go for it they do light up

Nice looking units, but installation was a chore. My trailer frame is steel, and I had to ground the black wire to it (only a single hot wire used for power on my trailer) beneath the light, using one of the mounting screws as a ground. The mounting screws are soft and the heads burr badly, so I had to use stronger self-tapping screws to thread the holes, then install the factory screws. For the two burred heads, I substituted my own screws, and their heads were slightly higher, so interfered with the back of the light. The plastic light back had recesses to allow for screw heads, but, for some reason, not where the screws were!Then you had to shoe-horn the light onto the base - it doesn't snap in or slide in, it has to wedge in on one end and the other end took prying with a tiny drill bit to get it seated. It really need instructions to avoid breaking something. I was lucky.Anyway, got thru it OK and they worked fine. Just took longer than I thought it should.

These lights were a great replacement for the original lights on my 2006 22t Hi Lo. I will replace all with the Led lights as time permits. The size was very close to the original. The originals had a direct v clamp that made a direct connection with the trailer wiring. I just spliced the two wires and made the connection with a standard twist connector.

They were easy to install, I liked the mounting method with the back bracket. Although I do feel like I am going to break the bracket when I remove them from the mount, but that should be a rare occurrence. The only other complaint is that the light, although nice and bright, is very directional and not super visible from an angle. Overall I am very satisfied and would purchase again.

These lights have a separate base that you secure to your vehicle, then drill 2 small holes the size of the wire, (or one big one), and feed the wires through. The lights are a sealed unit that just snap in to the base. No more lenses falling off or getting cracked because they are thin. These lights should last for many years without issues. Very bright and clean looking. I highly recommend these if you are wanting to replace/upgrade your current lights. They'll use less amp while working and look very good!

I bought these for a quick trailer project to get to a family member a couple of states away and before I knew it, I put these on all of my trailers. The look great! They are bright! They are thin and come out looking amazing on any trailer. I bought the yellow and reds one and have had zero wiring problems. I used to use the housings with bulbs and all I can say is "what a nightmare". It felt like every time I needed to use one of my trailers, I had to fix the lights first. Not with these! For the rear lights I use the led blazer lights. Once again they are bright and look good. I know if someone hits my trailer, they just weren't paying attention. They even have them with reverse lights and I love them. I'm never going back to bulbs again.

The product was nice - not as bright as the old ones but worked fine. I will take a hit in brightness to cut down on amperage which was affecting my overall system. There could have been a better mechanism for grounding. My system used the mounting holes as ground, this system just had two wires, so I had to devise a durable connection method to the mounting bolt for ground. All in all - worked well and solved my problem.
