I was using oats for my mealworms for awhile, but then ran into an issue with the colony growing some mold. I got this and it has worked great! It doesn't trap any moisture, the mealworms can move through it easily, and it has no smell.

We keep mealworms to feed to our birds and this food is the best quality.

I have a mealworm farm for my bearded dragon and this bedding works great for the mealworms. It stays fluffy and suitable for the worms. And it is a good amount for the price.
