Essential World Atlas

I had to return the National Geographic "World Atlas" it was so juvenile and simplistic and the maps were almost amateurish.Luckily Oxford's Atlas is superior in every imaginable way and has detailed tables and charts on demographics which allow for in depth exploration. This Atlas also has excellent maps with topography shown clearly.

I like a various info about countries in the beging of the atlas. Very interesting and informative.I like that maps of the countries are physical and not political.

Great atlas with an abundance of information. Clear pictures and charts. I cannot think of anything negative and am buying another for a gift.

Very detailed with extras like flags, statistics, etc.

I'm a map person, and having a world atlas with this much detail is great. When world events occur, I can look in the atlas and pinpoint the area and view the other places near it. I'm very impressed with the detailed topographical and geological map illustrations.

Excellent atlas

I was looking for a quick reference book, not a detailed book. I’m not planning to drive thru the various continents. I just wanted to see their relationship to each other with the cities of each country identified.
