Works perfect for what I Needed it for.
EDIT MAY 10TH 2025: nearly 13 years later and I still have and used this for travel lol. It's held up pretty well over the years. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I needed these in a pinch for travel i was going on and chose it based on its size, reviews, and available colors. I liked that i could get a different color than a standard plain black, and the green suited me just fine, and also if a friend ever needed to borrow it it would be gender neutral as opposed to a pink one (which i would have loved lol). Though true to other reviews the green color is NOT as bright and pretty as it appears on the photo, it is a little more muted, but a little more woodsy than olive id say. I have a ton of pics i took from various angles of all its features and even with it stuff full but i don't see where i can post them on this particular items page. :( I have no complaints over the durability of the suitcase (i don't use the mini one) kinda stupid, don't know if anyone ever uses them, not big enough for my laptop. So the suitcase will be the main point of my review. The item held up just fine and had no problems with it as a carry on. I flew through American Airlines for all flights and never once had any question of its size/weight issue and didn't have to check it. It rolled smoothly through the airport. the wheels worked well and had no issues with the handle. extended/retracted simple and quickly with a push of the button on top. there was an occasional tip or flip, but i attribute that to my handling of the bag as its a narrower than a larger one so it was easy to accidentally twist when pulling it up next to you, But that was mainly just how i was handling it. It can actually fit a pretty good amount of stuff in it. I had 2 pairs of jeans, house sweats, yoga style sweats, 8 shirts, 10 underwear and a couple bras, 4 pairs of socks, and a pair of low profile sneakers, pair of flats, and heels. Oh and an extra hoodie on top of all of that. Also had my makeup bag stashed in it too. All that WITHOUT the use of the 3" extender that unzips if you need it. I didn't want to risk having to check it. However on one of my flights, to/from an airforce base in a tiny plane, they had no room for carry ons so they had to be checked (no fee i might add) and it help up fine against their rough handling. Made it through the airports 6 times and came home in just as good condition as we left. Fortunately no scuffs or marks from being handled by agents or thrown on the belt or plane, and held a ton of stuff! all the intimates and socks and things were stowed in the zip mesh pocket on the inside, packed shoes in the bottom, then pants, then tops, then hoodie, I am very please with the durability and quality of this piece for a pretty decent price. It did what i needed it to do and did its job well. i really have no complaints about it at all and can't wait to go on another trip with it.

Great set!
I had to start traveling for business, so naturally I needed luggage that said, “professional adult” instead of “woman fleeing the scene with emotional support snacks and three hoodies.” This set has honestly been great. The carry-on is small enough for a quick few-day trip, but somehow expands enough to handle a full week of clothes PLUS the extra underwear we all pack like we’re preparing for a gastrointestinal apocalypse. Seriously, why do we all pack underwear like the airline might strand us in the wilderness for six months? The smaller bag is perfect for toiletries and bathroom essentials, which means I no longer have shampoo exploding directly onto my clothes like a personal attack. It rolls easily, feels lightweight, and has held up really well so far. Overall, I really dig this set. It makes me look way more organized and businesslike than I actually am while speed-walking through an airport looking for Gate C17 with a Starbucks in one hand and mild panic in the other.

Cheap in price, but not cheaply made. Bigger and more rugged than I thought. Budget suitcase
This review is for the Teal colored "U.S. Traveler Rio Lightweight Softside Rolling Carry-on Suitcase, 2-Wheel Single". Teal isn't really my groove. But for some reason it was on sale for $28.88, way cheaper than the black version I probably would have been drawn to. For this price I didn't know what to expect, and the reviews were all over the place, but I had a trip coming up and needed something fast and cheap. There isn't anything "cheap" about the construction. It's in line with every other budget brand rolling carry-on, and this one is labeled "lightweight". Spoiler: That's industry term for lightweight USE, not just that it only weighs a few pounds. You're not going to see commuters or business travelers using this suitcase. A lot of reviews called it "small". It's sized to fit into one of those sizing boxes a lot of the narrow-body aircraft operators (like Alaska) have to determine if it qualifies for carry-on or not. There are thousands of larger rolling carry-on suitcases you can buy, and maybe they fit and maybe they don't, basically if you have anything bigger you are hoping that the airline isn't enforcing the size rules that flight. They usually don't. But if you need extra space, this carry-on has a zipper to make it larger. Will it tip over when it's full? Probably. Mind did. A lot of the cheap 2 wheel bags have this problem. If you can't babysit the bag to prevent if from falling over, buy one with 4 wheels. For sure if you use the zipper to make this suitcase larger, it's going to fall over. Teal. The teal color never grew on me, but it makes the bag instantly identifiable. If I ever have to check the bag, it will probably help me identify it spinning around on the carousel. It made it easy to know the airport shuttle guy grabbed it. We have high humidity where I live, and suitcases don't last long. We buy them frequently so we buy them cheap. This is a good budget suitcase. If you're looking for high end stuff, shop in that price range.

Super cute set
This set is so cute, love the color. I took it to Playa del Carmen with me and I was able to fit a weeks worth of clothes, toiletry bag , makeup bag, socks, undies, girdles, sports bra, bras , workout shorts 2 and sandals. In the large bag.

Great purchase!
It was great! Perfect carry on size for overhead bin and came with a smaller "laptop" style bag that went under the seat in front of me. Was fantastic on my trip and when packed well fits a ton of stuff!

Nice carry-on suitcase with sad wheels.
I am writing this review after one year and about 6-7 round-trip flights using this as my carryon. Initial review would have been 4 stars, but with the identified wheel issue, dropped to 3. Overall I liked it--it was very light, built decently well given its light weight and cost, and the zippers and outer fabric appear to be nice and durable... but the wheels were never very good. Wobbly from day one with dubiously mounted axles in the plastic housing means that if you have a lot of walking to do while rolling this suitcase, even if it's not heavily loaded, the wheels will eventually fail (in my case, one axle worked its way out of the plastic frame, rendering the suitcase unrollable). If you will always carry it in a wheels-up configuration, this suitcase is a good deal. If you need to "drive" it, though, expect the wobbly wheels to cause minor control issues until one or both fail completely. Pros: Lightweight, good seemingly durable zippers and outer shell fabric, fits nicely into overhead compartments while also being durable enough to be checked in if necessary while still providing lots of storage capacity. Cons: Wheels/axles, handle when extended is a bit wobbly, suitcase has a tendency to topple over when left standing along (almost guaranteed if you expand/extend the storage compartment by using the wrap-around zipper). Case design makes it challenging to replace wheels/axles with more durable alternatives.

Great for weekends!
Great for short trips. A weekend getaway. This is not a large suitcase. It is carry on size. About half the size of a large one.

Cost-effective, efficient, and handsome carry-on.
I bought this bag because it was among the lightest carry-on rollaboards I could find. It arrived in perfect condition. It rolls easily, and the telescoping handle works smoothly. Zippers on the lid and the two handy zippered pockets on the front work well. I loaded it with a pair of shoes, sandals, a dress, 3 pairs of slacks (not jeans), five lightweight tops, a week's worth of underwear and socks, a small pair of PJ's, a swimsuit, and two books. I have plenty of room to spare, and even more if I use the zipper expansion, which allows another inch. Due to the weight restrictions imposed by Turkish Airlines, however, I won't be able to add anything else, as it already comes too close to 17.3 pounds. (Cosmetics will have to go in my backpack to keep underweight, though they'd fit in this bag easily. I ordered the green one, and I love the color. The dimensions, including the wheels, are well within the carry-on restrictions for Turkish Airlines. I measured to confirm that the outer pockets don't make it deeper than 9 inches. At this price, it more than makes up for the cost of paying to check in my luggage twice. I'm thrilled and can't wait to fly with it.

Great Luggage for Young Traveler!
We bought the U.S. Traveler Rio Rugged Fabric Expandable Carry-on Luggage Set (camo) for our son and it’s held up extremely well on long flights. The fabric feels tough and reassuring, zips are smooth, and everything stayed intact through airports, overhead bins, and plenty of handling. The expandable section is genuinely useful and makes packing much easier without the bag feeling bulky. Wheels roll well and the handle feels solid, which is important when a younger traveller is using it independently. The camo design is also a plus — easy to spot and doesn’t show marks easily. Overall, it’s practical, durable, and well thought-out, especially for frequent or long-haul travel. Very happy with how it’s performed.
