It does work but broke the first time I used it when I was half way through.
Still worked after being broken in half the first time. I guess it needed more straightening.

Easy to use
I love this thing. I can't seem to keep any draw strings from slipping back into the waist band of my shorts so I use it frequently. Easy to use and fits into the hole nicely. Worth the money to me.

Didn't work/waste of 4 bucks!
I bought this before Christmas and I'm just getting around to trying to use it and that was short lived. I got the drawstring halfway around my Adidas track pants and that was quite an issue getting it that far. The point of the end kept catching on the fabric inside the channel. But then the plastic broke in one of the thinnest areas of the product. One would figure! The instruction sounded so easy- that was a joke!

Life Saver!!!!
Honestly, now that I have this thing, I don't know what I would do without it. I am the worlds worst about Hoddie strings coming out when I wash mine. I know you can tie them, but I forget and until I discovered this thing sometimes I would just throw them away...No LONGER..lol...This thing makes it easy to put them back into place alone with gym shorts strings, PJ pants strings, I have even used it to make catfish jugs out of pool noodles a lot easier!! You will find some many uses for this thing, I can't even name them all!!

Really useful, but fragile.
Every time I wash my kids clothes, their strings come out of their sweatshirts or sweatpants. I’ll spend 15 minutes, painstakingly retreading the thing.I bought this and the time went from 15 minutes to 15 seconds. I was able to re thread about 10 different pants before it broke.It’s made of very cheap and not overly flexible plastic. Be careful when pushing it through, or you could snap it. It’s only a few bucks, but if you can save yourself buying another, why not?

Works perfect!!! Recommend if you need to put a new draw string for shorts/sweats.
