Not 316 SS. They are magnetic.
These arrived neatly packaged. But they are magnetic so not 316 SS. They are also very thin, 1/32". If you do not need 316 SS and do not mind thin metal they are ok. But for a little more money there are others thicker and non magnetic, so true 316 SS. I need them for a saltwater marine application so I will return them.

Works as advertised. It should be noted the edge of these clamshells are a bit rough and could benefit from being sanded down a bit. They are also very thin gouge material.

Much thinner and much smaller than depicted.
I had ordered these to provide a weather and rain cover for 1 inch holes in my sailboat mast. The products I received are like little thin toys you would receive for free in inside a box of cracker jacks. Somewhat more substantial than pieces of foil, but not much. Mayb they would work on a little doll house?

But, not on my boat!
I liked getting 4 vents for what two would normally cost. But, poor finish and thin stamping. They will be returned. I am ordering replacements from Amazon.
