Fun for the office
You read that right. The office. Every month we have a team bonding meeting. I decided to pick this up for one of of meetings. The price was cheap so there was nothing to lose. We (a team of about 12 staff members) broke up into groups and looked over all the information in the game. Then came together as one large group to bounce ideas and theories off of each other. By the end of our hour long meeting we all felt pretty confident in the answer. Some parts we got correct and others, not so much. Haha But we all had a blast working together to figure it out. Lots of twist and turns. Worth every penny.

Another Vote for This One vs Unsolved Case Files Series
Like an earlier reviewer, I have tried the same two of the Unsolved Case Files mysteries (Jane Doe, Jamie Banks) and were disappointed both times. Their logic simply didn't hold up, and my guests and I were frustrated at the end. We then bought a Thinkfun mystery (A Story to Die For) which was MUCH better, but still not perfect. This one - A Pinch of Murder - IS perfect... completely logical and solvable with the clues provided. It's not super hard; our party of five solved it in 1:15, but it was completely enjoyable with no frustration afterwards.

I love these games
I’ve played so many of these types of games by now. This game was fun and difficult enough to be challenging but still able to be solved. I love that you get hints and the documents all seem so real.

Relatively easy mystery, perfect for light sleuthing
I am fairly new to this sort of game and gave this one a solo effort. From start to finish was approximately 1 hour. The props were well designed, clear and gave a real tactile experience. The case was relatively easy to piece together with only one real stretch of the given clues. But once you know the solution, it makes sense.Locating then solution (via a website) was much more difficult! Go to the site, search for the game and then find the area for solutions. A direct web address would have been much appreciated!

Fun, but no replayability
This was a fun game. Fairly easy to solve the mystery. However, keep in mind this is one and done - you won't be able to replay it

Engaging and perfect for beginners
this was an absolute blast! Surprisingly easy to solve, it was perfect for beginners. The gameplay was incredibly fun and engaging, keeping everyone hooked till the end. The level of challenge was just right—neither too complex nor too simple. It made for an entertaining evening, and I'd highly recommend it, especially for those new to murder mystery games

Fun game to play with friends
This game has a lot of production value. Lots of interview sheets, photos, newspaper articles, etc. that must be read through to find out the identity of the killer. For us, a bunch of escape room enthusiasts, we felt it was on the simpler side. This is a good thing though! This is a wonderful game to introduce the genre to friends who maybe haven’t done anything like this before. You feel like a real detective and it’s worth the price. Try it out!
