Very well made, looks like it will hold up well on the field gear I intend to install it on.

The only flaw, and it is very slight is that on some units the swivel joint needs a little wear before it becomes perfectly smooth. I removed the spring-loaded arm to use as a simple pocket hook for my keyring since the spring arm would catch against my clothes and sometimes require a two-handed release. In this regard, the solid brass was amenable to being crushed to a tighter hook which made it a more secure non-spring arm hook.

These are awesome. Actually solid brass with a really reliable spring mechanism. I use them to clip on my dogs' tags to give you an idea of the wear and tear these go through. They've been in the ocean, rivers, full of sand and dirt, through rough play, constantly moving and swaying and not only have I never had to worry about the tag falling off, they look great still. Maybe a bit of tarnishing but it's easily buffed out.

I looked all over locally and could not find these. I love the hook mechanism, especially the spring. They come from China so it takes a while to get here.

I bought these to replace the clips on the front of my horse blanket when both of them broke last winter (they looked metal but we're actually plastic!!). These Brad's clips are WAY better than the original ones were. Very heavy-duty, yet easy to operate even in below-freezing temps. Higly recommend!!

These solid brass lobster clasps are even better than I anticipated. They're easy to hinge open, too. I bought them for making leather tassel purse charm key chains, and can't wait to get started.

Sturdy non swivel clip. These pieces are not like the cheap swivel lobster clips. These will not break. I use them on leather bags for the straps. The non swivel design is perfect!.
