The book every mama should own
I loved it so much I bought it for all my friends that are currently expecting too! I’m on my 4th child, so I’ve done the whole postpartum thing before, but there are SO many topics covered that I wish I knew earlier, and it’s still helpful for me to read. She gives real examples of problems tons of women struggle with that are often dismissed or overlooked by others. It validated every feeling that I’ve had throughout pregnancy and beyond and how to cope with things that may happen this time around that I’m not expecting (because really when do things EVER go as planned). This will definitely be a gift I’m including for every baby shower I attend!

Great gift for new moms!
I bought this for my sister-in-law, who is a new mom. I wish it was available when I had my kids! There are some great ideas in here for new moms, and it makes a great gift that tells the mom not to forget about herself when everyone is focused on the baby!

I plan on gifting copies of this book to all my friends who are expecting.
I strongly suggest this book to all parents, including moms and dads. It addresses various crucial aspects of postpartum that you may not be adequately prepared for. The chapter I particularly enjoyed and marked is the one about being a sufficient parent. We all experience challenging days, and having a gentle reminder of this can greatly benefit our mental well-being.

Never showed up!
I imagine this book is amazing, but it never showed up! Bought it for a friend but ended up canceling because it kept getting delayed and she ended up having the baby. No time to read it now!

Water damage
The book arrived so damaged I could barely read it but from what I could read it’s all the same stuff you hear all the time. Find time for yourself and enjoy the time with your baby.

Just ok
I didn’t learn anything new from this book ; seemed like common sense info to me , but I am an older mom .. perhaps it might be of more use to a younger new mom .

Perfect for moms and dads!
I highly recommend this book for all moms ( and dads too!) It covers so many important parts of postpartum that you may otherwise not be prepared for. My favorite chapter that I have highlighted is the section on being a good enough parent. We all have those days and sometimes Reading a gentle reminder of that goes a long long way in mental health. I will be getting all my expecting friends copies!

Must read for brand new parents!
With wisdom, honesty, and humor, author Corinne Crossley expertly covers what to expect post-partum, leaving no stone of self-care unturned. Practical advice is generously offered, taking into consideration that each experience is “same same but different”. Using the metaphor of scuba diving, Crossley takes the reader with her into the unknown, making it knowable through her own experiences and through the lenses of clients, colleagues and experts in the field. Highly recommended.
