Could a student use this instead of Ti 85?

There’s a school actually still asking for TI 85s as of a year ago? Anyway this is more comparable to a ti 81 or ti 80 (using close to 30 year old calculators as I’m in shock to see someone asking about a ti 85

Is this calculator the same as a TI-83/84 calculator?

A couple of weak points from my perspective. The 1/x function requires two button presses - I use that all the time for chained calculations in chemistry, so dedicated button is a must for me. Also the RCL is a two button-press operation whereas STO is direct one-press; for me, it should be the other way around because I store often-used constants, like ideal gas constant, avogadro number, etc., in memories and need them with single button press. Button presses matter, especially on tests.

where is the function button on this CS-183? for: X^Y power (example 4^4 = 4x4x4 = 64

I don't know. The instructions for the unit were so bad I ended up giving it to a friend's daughter. I bought a reconditioned TI-89 from Amazon: plenty of YouTube videos for using the TI-89. The unit in question may be a very capable calculator; the included instructions are terrible. No YouTube support.

No, non ci siamo. È un clone di una Casio di 30 anni fa. Fa i grafici, ma non è minimamente paragonabile alle Casio da 20 euro che si trovano qui su Amazon. Siamo nel 2024 e ancora dobbiamo avere sei quinti scritto come 1⅃1⅃5 ?
