TaylorDarkTone Series Pick Tin - Koa Collector's Edition

Nice tin that I put all of my picks in. It sits on my desk and I open it every day to select a pick I want to use for the session. The wood is quality wood and I would recommend it to anyone who likes the Taylor brand and wants to supplement their quality guitar with a quality accessory.

Great warm tone picks of a variety of materials, shapes and thicknesses (1.2-1.5mm).Really great for mandolin and acoustic guitar.Although, as the name suggests, most of the picks fall on the darker side of the spectrum, 2 of the more colorful Thermax picks produce quite a bright sound.Bottom line: even though this variety pack is a bit pricey, the picks are top notch, plus you get them in a nice "deluxe" box.

I got one that was a cheap laminate top like other posters have stated. I returned it as I’m not going to give $40 for an altoid box with a sticker on it. I contacted Taylor with my disappointment and we will see if I hear back. I wouldn’t bother with this on Amazon, big fail. Update: Taylor responded saying the peeling top and cheap looking laminate I received was up to their standards so SOL on this product I really wanted to love.

Cool array of different thickness of picks in a cool storage tin. It’s fun to try all of the picks and get different sounds.

I decided to indulge in this item as a stocking stuffer for my husband.Although he doesn't use it often, it remained out of sight on a console table for a few months.Upon closer inspection, we noticed the veneer had lifted off.We'll try to glue it back on, but considering the premium price we paid, we genuinely expected better quality and longevity from this product.

I really liked the not just the awesome picks but more so the wooden face and leather inside,definitely a collectable for me.
