NO WORRIES WITH THIS STUFF
Ran outside gas service to heater/ac. This stuff is great and IT IS burial, the yellow coating on it that makes it possible. 150psi pressure rating is WAY MORE than you need, nat gas is about 9 OUNCES after the pressure regulator at the meter, same for propane. The trick to using this stuff is TAKE your TIME! Unroll it slowly and straighten it as you unroll it so as not to kink it. Cutting is easy with GOOD tubing cutters, sharp cutter wheel, again take your time, tighten the cutter a very little at a time, take several rounds and tighten again, etc. to much tension to the cutter will crush the pipe. Remember "slow and go beats fast and crash" with this tubing. I ran 30 feet of it no problem, swooping bend around end of house (probably a 12 in radius), easy to use fittings on the pipe and you can buy extra fittings from company and here at amazon. OH after you cut the pipe gently ream the pipe so you don't damage the O-rings on the fitting when reinstalling pipe to fitting, DON'T use any lube on the O-rings, assembly is snug but easy to do and lube will deteriorate the O-rings over time. This is what I found with using this tubing, I am a master plumber and I would recommend this to add gas to whatever. Buy with ease of mind folks, good stuff if you TAKE your time. James

amazing product
easy to bend easy to work with, and zero leak on first try. had 8 black pipe thread connections from main pipe to water heater, installed a new water heater with gas flex, and now it has only 2 thread connections, 1 at the main pipe and 1 at the water heater. no elbows needed as 90degree bends are extremely easy to do with this piping.

Easy to Use
Arrived as promised and with two fittings. Note about the fittings: You get one female and one male if nothing is specified... both are standard 1/2" fittings. I should have ordered it with two male ends, as every valve and elbow, t-joint, etc, is female when working with gas. The stuff was very easy to install. I did radius bends of about 6" by hand... you could probably do more if you were careful and had something to wrap the flex pipe around. Cuts easily with a standard tubing cutter but be sure to go slowly... just a very slight increase in cut depth, then around the pipe again... if you try to go for too much, you'll bend the thin wall tube. It is thin wall tube. Thus, if you are going to run it anywhere where it might get whacked with something, you should provide additional protection, like running it through a PVC tube. My application was to install a gas grill which required 28 feet of flex pipe. It ran from a T connection in the rafters of my garage, along my covered walkway, then down a 4 x 4 supporting the walkway, where I ran it down the 4 x 4 to a valve and BBQ quick connect. I enclosed the portion of the flex pipe that ran down the 4 x 4 inside a 3/4" piece of PVC. Finally, in Houston, this particular material is not listed as code approved. However, the code also allows for "equivalent materials" (you have to prove it up). My installation is also exposed, and I added a valve at the the T as well. If I were to sell my house, I could simply disconnect at the T for the inspector and I would have no issues. The buyer could reconnect as she sees fit.

Best Quality & Value Around
These arrive with the connectors attached but not tightened or fixed. Before I 'fixed' mine I removed them, applied a little pipe dope sealant on the threads, then reconnected and secured tight. I bought 2 hoses and connected them in tandem to run NG from my basement to my attic. The hose bends well and stays in position once bended or shaped, can also make a 90 degree elbow turn as sharp as what you see with 1" pvc tubing. The hose is spec'ed for interior, exterior, and underground applications, all environmental conditions. This is an unbelievable value in my opinion as the least expensive flexible type of hose I could find spec'ed for NG was $3/foot and that did not include the sometimes expensive connectors. Hence this hose was literally less than half the price of what my next nearest option was. My only complaint is that seller did not discount my shipping since I bought two units....but I can't be too upset, they did save me $100+ relative to my next option. The hose also comes with no documentation of any kind, I think they should inform or remind buyers to "fix" or "tighten" the connectors and not to assume your good to go out the box. Not having the connectors tightened makes sense though as depending on your application you can feed the hose through 1/2" holes through walls, etc. and once in place, then apply the connectors (which are large nuts). The value here is really amazing when you consider for example, 10' black pipe (for NG gas) at my local big box hardware store is $13/10' of pipe. When you factor how you then have to buy couplers, elbows, and connectors, etc. I think when the smoke clears, comparing apples to apples, raw black pipe is more expensive and less flexible, literally, than this hose.

Good price and good quality
Used it to connect my natural gas from the patio to the BBQ outside on a deck. Worked out perfectly. The connector was easy to work with. The bending is a big tricky as it's actually metal tube with plastic coasting. But once you carefully bended it to the shape you want, it will stay.

Flexible but sturdy
Installed a heater in my garage and had to run the gas line through the attic and into the basement. This made running the gas line super easy. It's flexible as though you can bend it anyway you want and it stays in the position. Great hardware and will definitely last!

Install info
End result great product. My install was 12' line buried from LPG fittings next to input in to house from tank (own shutoff valve) to BBQ on edge of patio by pool. The 1/2" GasFlex pipe fits in 3/4" pvc conduit fittings and cement. I used 2 90degrees, carefully and slowly and incrementally for about 8" radius hand bend pipe and feed through 90s. Pull or push more pipe as necessary to fit into a straight conduit pipe to metal fitting. I left about 2 inches exposed gasflex pipe just in case the fitting needed to be redone. Fit the tapered hex fitting on pipe, then compression ring, then the fittiing with 2 o-rings into pipe, can leave loose so the pipe threaded end and be screwed in the galvanized pipe wall fittings. Now the trick/secret. The cut and fit. I tried the suggested copper pipe cutting wheel tool, does not work. How to cut without cutting, I did. I use an electric hand held body saw with a very fine tooth hacksaw blade and slowly cut the pipe. I bought it at harbor freight. From Amazon, I bought a two ended copper pipe reaming tool. I carefully reamed the plastic inside the the pipe and and fit first after grease. I bought silicone grease, small container, from Amazon and put some grease on the rubber o-rings so a not the tear the o-rings. Keep it clean and strait and do not over tighten the fitting. The fitting compresses the metal compression ring to outer plastic and then compresses inner plastic on o-rings and forms a seal. Leak check with soapy water. I used black adhesive tape (Amazon) to waterproof fittings. I wrapped from flex pipe, brass fitting and onto gav. metal fitting. I live a coast area with high salt moisture. Salt air corrodes galvanised pipe. I bought two more fittings from GasFlex to use the remaining pipe for my LP generator. I could have place an order directly from GasFlex to order the pipe+fittings and two extra fittings and saved a little $.. Have fun

Do not buy this in Canada
Not CSA certified for Canadian use. Otherwise a good product. Worked well until I failed my inspection and had to have it replaced
