Great product, great price, quick shipment all together great experience.

Keeps my compressor drained.

Purchased two units and they were installed. Tried to hook up one of the units to a 24V DC power supply and discovered this was not enough power to open the valve. Bench tested the unit with 110V and it worked fine. I was able to use 110V for both applications and the two units have been in service for a month without any issues. If you are looking for a low cost drain valve, this is a good choice but be warned that it may not work at 24V.

Couldn't figure out how to wire it, returned and bought one with the power cord.

Whatever the design, these buzz loudly during release for the first day or so when first activated. It eventually quiets down so I guess it's OK but not five stars.

This item does not come with a cord!! Yes it is pictured without a cord but I didn't notice it so buyer be aware it does not come with one.

Malfunctions most of the time. Valve does not fully open and stay open for the specified time.

Excellent system! After combining fittings to add a manual valve before the automatic valve and a cord to power the automatic drain valve, I set it up and it worked like a charm! My reservations, when I decided to add a manual drain as well, was on periods of non use, I didn't want my compressor running all the time to build up pressure from constantly getting drained for 2 seconds every 45 minutes (the lowest setting). But it appears that with a 60 gallon tank, with those setting when I am not using the compressor, it kicks on about 1 time every 3 days to build the pressure back to 135psi. That is certainly reasonable for keeping my tank pressurized for when I need it, rather than filling the tank from empty. I've had the auto drain valve for about a month and it worked perfectly. I am very impressed and the price is hard to beat.

Works great. I have been using it for 5 months now. No issues at all.It does not come with the cable so you will need to purchase one or just repurpose computer power supply cable ... wiring is pretty straight forward ...

although the unit works well on standard 1/2" tank drainage outlet, the longest time interval is only 45 minutes between evacuations. A longer time interval, perhaps up to 12 hours would be preferable for less intensive compressed air use.
