I wanted a budget microphone for video dubbing and Zoom. I saw some reviews and chose this one. The quality far surpasses my normal webcam mic. The background noise suppression system is easy to enable and really cuts out the rustling noises in my office. There is an indicator to remind you that it is enabled. The adjustable volume control means you always have the right level for the job. Not all mics have this and it a useful feature. The volume control has no detents; just rotate clockwise to increase and vice-versa. Muting is easy and the LED reminds you that it is on. The mount is stable enough and the microphone can be positioned at almost any angle and even rotates to get the best pickup. The internal mounting system is good enough not to need a rubber-band suspension system. There is no evidence of my keypresses being picked up which is good. All in all a good microphone for a good price and I am very happy with it.

I have a Rode M3 as well. So plenty to choose from and I have a fairly good idea what a good mic should sound like. This sounds like a good mic. I have only tried it on my voice briefly and a classical guitar but it has a nice warmth to it and it captures the lower registers of my bass baritone voice very well. The upper registers are all present and correct too. Would be an excellent mic for most everything I would say. What a bargain! Solid and well put together. Only downside is no monitoring facility but I knew that when I bought it. Yeah what a fricken bargain!

Good price, very clear but it does tend to fall forward

This is a very good item considering its on the lower end of what's out there it really dose get the recoding job done, paired with the right softwares and your golden!!

To start this off, it's a microphone that works and does the job for the price. My only issues have been the following: - The microphone needs to be upright; In the beginning I tried to place it under my monitor but the problem was the muffler constantly fell off. This certainly won't be an issue for you if you use it exactly as shown in the images - The microfon button to mute, volume gain, noise canceling is useless and causes more issues than helps. To elaborate more on this, for some reason the volume gain is constantly turning up for some reason. So whenever I have to enter a call I have to make sure to decrease the gain because the sound wuality drops a lot if it's turned up and quite often a lot of words I've said went missing. The noise cancelling feature is completely useless unless you are using a communication software older than 10 years or building one yourself. Most applications already have this built in on software level so a hardware switch like this does not provide anything extra and I've always kept it off.

Bought this as I have got back into gaming, and as I had headphones (without a mic) that are very good, I thought about buying a stand alone mic as gaming headphones run to high in price unless both (headphones and mic) are needed. This was one of the first I saw on Amazon and for the price I figured it was worth a try and I am more than pleased with this, I have only had it 1 day from writing this review but it was very easy to setup, more than stable on the tripod legs it comes with, it is very very sensitive (settings can change this very easily) I had this fairly low down on sensitivity and I could hear myself scratching by my knee, hearing the fabric. However I have not been told that I am to loud when playing a game but a simple turn of the volume dial on the microphone itself this is solved, the volume button is also the mute button (button needs to be pushed in) this wasn't well shown on the setup booklet it indicated a mute feature but didn't show the correct number in the diagram. If the volume switch on the mic is turned up to much, (on a stereo or when active listening to the mic to test the levels) a high pitch can be heard but again this is just when the volume switch (more of an input sensitivity dial) is up to high. I am more than happy with this product, I would recommend it for anyone looking for a microphone for gaming, possibly podcasting for beginners or anyone looking for a stand alone microphone.

The one I received was defective and was returned - as it recorded a loud, constant high-pitched whine over the top of everything. Pro's: The microphone body and stand are solid and heavy, and feel robust. It comes with a fairly long USB cable for connectivity. Con's: The recording quality was tinny and lacked bass (not sure if this is due to it being defective or not)... The one I received had a loud high-pitched whine recorded over everything. I tried various settings to remove this with no success. The "volume" knob has no upper or lower limit, you can just twist it in either direction forever - which means you have no idea what your recording level actually is.

Das Veetop kommt sehr nobel und gut verarbeitet daher, den Preis sieht man dem Gerät in keinster Weise an. Mitgeliefert wir eine Mikrophonhalterung nebst Gewindeadapter (leider aus Plastik) sowie ein kleines Stativ. Die Halterung ist etwas eigenartig, da man das Mikrophon von oben in ein Gewinde einschrauben muss und es zwar eine Kontermutter als umlaufenden Ring gibt, es jedoch umöglich ist, das Mikrophon hiermit gegen ein Verdrehen in der Längsachse zu sichern. Angeschlossen wird das Mikro über ein USB-A-Stecker-USB-B-Stecker-Kabel mit beachtlichen 4 mm Durchmesser. Der Stecker USB-B erscheint zwar etwas altertümlich, doch aufgrund der mechanischen Größe und Robustheit ist er hier dennoch gut angebracht und stört nicht. Mit dabei ist auch noch eine Schaumstoffhaube. die allerdings dann das Metallgitter über der Mikrophonkapsel verdeckt. Angeschlossen und installiert ist das Mikro sehr schnell und es wurde unter Win10 sofort erkannt. Nun zur Hauptsache, dem Klang! Das Mikrophon ist so aufgebaut, dass die die schallempfindliche Kapsel nicht etwas nach oben schaut wie bei einem Gesangsmikro, sondern sie schaut zu Seite. Wenn man den Lautstärkeregler und das gründe Licht vor sich sieht, stimmt die Ausrichtung. Da das robuste Metallgitter einen kleinen Einblick in das Innere ermöglicht ist es leicht möglich, die Mikrophonkapsel zu erkennen. Die Richtwirkung des Mikros ist leicht nachzuvollziehen und ausgeprägt. Der Klang ist sehr direkt und laut wenn man in der Vorzugsrichtung spricht. Dreht man das Mikro, wird es leiser und etwas halliger. In allen Fällen ist der Klang sehr natürlich, gerade was Sprach anbelangt. Für Video-Konferenzen, aber auch für eigene Musikaufnahmen mit dem PC ist das Mikro hervorragend geeignet. Die Lautstärke ist auch so hoch, dass der Lautstärkeregler durchaus Sinn ergibt, damit man nicht übersteuert. Der Regler hat zusätzlich eine Druck-Funktion, die das Mikro ausschaltet und die LED darunter dann rot leuchten lässt, was eine schöne Kontroller ist um nicht bei Videokonferenzen aus Versehen Peinlichkeiten preiszugeben. Der Regler ist kein Poti sondern kann beliebig oft nach rechts oder links gedreht werden, einen Anschlag findet man nicht. Das ist eigentlich etwas schade, weil man bei so einem Drehpoti dann auch weiß, wie weit man schon aufgedreht hat und wo es zu laut wird und wo zu leise. Die ist aber schon die einzige Sache, an der man herumnörgeln könnte. Ansonsten ist dem Mikro eine Richtwirkung zu bescheinigen, die auch wirklich so genannt werden darf, zudem ein guter Klang, Kontrollmöglickeiten und ein wertiges Aussehen. Ungeeignet wäre das Mikro nur für Leute, die das Mikro gerne in die ganze Hand nehmen und von vorne aufsprechen - dies würde die Konstruktion mit der großen Membran in Querrichtung konterkarieren und wäre dem Klang abträglich.

Es un buen micrófono porque tiene buen sonido con respecto al precio, pero el pie no es de lo mejor, no abren exactamente igual las 3 patas (la diferencia es mínima).

Un micro USB livré avec un petit trépied, une couronne de fixation, une bonnette anti souffle et un câble USB d'environ 1,2 m. A noter que la connectivité micro est en USB-B (type imprimante), donc facilement remplaçable en cas de perte. Le corps du micro est en métal et l'ensemble, malgré son prix fait bonne figure et semble de belle qualité avec un assemblage presque digne d'un pro. Le micro dispose d'un bouton de volume sur lequel on appuie pour le mettre en marche, en mute ou activer la réduction de bruit. Des LED indiquent les fonctions actives. Sur une distance raisonnable mais plus proche que celle comme indiquée (plutôt entre 10 et 20 cm), la voix est parfaitement claire et distincte, la réduction de bruit atténue très bien les bruits ambiants. Certes et tout le monde l'aura compris, on n'est pas dans une qualité pro à ce prix et loin en terme de performances, mais pour les applications à la maison (vidéos, conférences audio, séminaires en ligne, gaming, etc...) c'est bien supérieur aux désagréables micros bas de gamme intégrés ou d'oreillettes, la voix est stable, équilibrée et plus proche du naturel. Reste un problème de taille, le petit trépied livré et posé sur une table ne permet pas de maintenir la distance désirée pour avoir une voix nette, il faut donc quasi impérativement soit le tenir à la main en permanence (quasi impossible) ou racheter un bras articulé comme dans la description. Idéal pour les télétravailleurs qui ont besoin d'un bon équipement pour parler et présenter sans se ruiner, mais vraiment dommage ne pas avoir prévu un support digne de ce nom.

Das Veetop USB Mikrofon Kondensatormikrofon hat gleich alles für den Gebrauch mit dabei und kan sofort an jedem PC Laptop oder anderen geeingeter Hardware mit USB Aschluss- oder passenden Adapter eingesezt werden, ohne weitere Hardware zu benötigen. Enthalten ist ein 3 Bein Standfuss, auf das man das Mikrofon per verschrauben anbringen kann, damit es gehalten wird. Eine Anleitung und auch der Schaumaufsatz des Mikrofons. Das USB Kabel ist gleich schon am Mikrofon mit verbaut und hat eine akzeptable Länge. Das Mikrofon selbst ist aus einem massiven Metall gefertigt und wirkt äussterst stabil. Mein Standdfuss hat ein Bein, was leider nachgibt bzw wackelt und somit keinen ganz sicheren Stand gibt. Jedoch ist das Mikrofon als solches noch immer nutzbar, wenn man es gut platziert. Leicht lässt sich die perfekte Neigung des Mikrofons an der Beefstigung für den Stanfuss einstellen, sodass dieser sich nicht von alleine wieder verändert. Angeschlossen wird es sofort als solches erkannt, man muss nicht zusätzliche Software installieren. Der Aufnahmeklang ist einfach Spitze für ein Mikrofon in dieser Preisregion und sicherlich besser, als manches teurere. Die „noise reduction" ist allerdings nicht wirklich überzeugend- aber in meinen Augen auch nicht zwingend nutzbar, da das Mikrofon bei einem gleichbleibendem Abstand durchaus sehr gut überträgt, ohne weitere störende Geräusche. Die Übertragunslautstärker bzw der entsprechende Regler ist schwer erkenntlich einstellbar. Jedoch sollte nach einer gut dosierten Einstellung und Position des MIkrofons diesen ohne Weiteres bei der Einstellung belassen können. Der Lautsärkeregler wird durch Drehen erhöht bzw gesenkt, die Noisefunktion durch längeres Drücken desselbigen und das Muten (Stummschalten) durch einen kurzen Druck desselben. Ich werde überlegen, ob ich einen geeingeten Schwenkarm erwerben werde, dnen mir gefällt dieses Mikrofon wirklich sehr gut.
