This thing is awesome! I received my whip late last week and finally got it out to install over the weekend. The install was super quick and easy. Id definitely recommend an accessory mount to make the quick disconnect install even easier.The only wish I would have for this whip would be an increased length of wire. I needed to purchase additional wire, in order to run it from the rear of my jeep up to my switch pod under the hood. Other than that, super happy.

The light worked well for a few months and a part of the light stopped working.UPDATE on 29 JUNE 2021: The seller contacted me immediately after being aware of the matter, and sent me a replacement . So looked at many options. More expensive ones I found did not flex like these ones do which I needed. Had to get the barrel spring for full flexion. Hook up was slightly hard for a pick up truck. Got an extension cable for the lights as I had to run them around the bed. Only thing I wished these had was the option of Bluetooth to change the pattern and colors to exactly what I want. There are a ton of patterns though. Don’t mount though where the receiver for the remote is inside a box. I had to move that piece to where it would receive the remote better. Other than that very happy with it so far. It’s nice to have the quick disconnect to be able to go through a car wash. Tried calling X-Sprite but no one answers their phone. I will try by email but don’t know if it’s worth the aggravation of having to uninstall then reinstall if it’s replaced.

First set came and they only displayed white leds. The remote did not work nor did the app. Sent back. Second set came and have worked great so far.

Install was smooth and lights look great. Unfortunately my light controller is freezing up. I’ve installed my controller in a well ventilated and dry area and still after just a few outings controller is having issues. To get the lights to change pattern/color via the remote I have to turn the lights power off and then back on and I’ve only got about 2-3 light changes before the controller freezes up. I have to cycle the light pattern immediately after powering up or it won’t work. Lights still work but I am unable to cycle them via remote. Powering the controller down and then back up has same effect. Other than that - light whips seem to be well made and have held up great and look awesome.

Update: I got the lights replaced with no questions asked. Very happy to recommend.Will check the quality of the light and update again.I used the light only for 4 times 5-6 hours in the night connected on my Nissan patrol Y61 model. It just went off and I tried all wiring and and connections. Everything was fone. Finally removed the wiring and taken to an electronic repair shop where they showed me the burnt chip inside whoch cannot be repaired in my present country Qatar. It was such a disappointing buy ,shattered all my dreams of flying in the desert with a beautiful light pole.

Easy setup. I like the quick disconnect mount. I wired it with a cigarette plug so I could just plug it into the power outlet in the rear of my 4Runner
