Another Chinese product. But works well.
Dang it! These are made in China. I should have known.Compared to Tweezerman’s regular-sized tweezers:The Aumelo tweezers are very thick stainless steel. Usually that’s a good thing, but not with tweezers. The steel on the Tweezerman is thinner. The thinness of the steel is what makes squeezing them easy. These Aumelo tweezers are so thick that it’s like a work out just to tweeze hairs. I’m plucking, not exercising. My weak weak fingers just can’t handle all the work out. First world problems, I know. Having the Tweezerman really screwed me over by setting my standards high. Unfortunately I can’t buy that exact Tweezerman tweezer anymore. But I digress.Compared to Tweezerguru regular-sized tweezers:The Tweezerguru’s steel is also thinner than the Aumelo, thus making the Tweezerguru a better option. Less work out when I squeeze the tweezer. The pros: they are strong. Well because they’re so thick. These could possibly be used as self-defense weapons. The tips are also perfectly aligned so grabbing hairs is no problem. Also good for grabbing a giant blackhead. They’re not made for that but hey, it works.Tips: Don’t ever drop them. The violent impact can cause misalignment and you’ll curse the day you were stupid enough to drop them, because plucking with an unaligned tweezer is more frustrating than waiting for your videos to load on dial-up (back in the day when there was dial-up). Also, keep the tips clean. I wipe with alcohol or wash with soap and water. Clean tips make it easier to pluck.

cosmetologist loves this set!
As a licensed cosmetologist, I am pretty picky (pun intended) when it comes to my implements. I've been very pleased with this set so far. The highlights are:STRENGTH- these tweezers are structurally made well, they have no 'flex' when compressed, which is a sign that they will be durable also.CALIBRATION- the blades on each of the tweezers are aligned really well. Upon close visual inspection, each prong meets it's partner perfectly evenly, in both width and blade angle.BLADES-the 'blades' of the tweezers have been angled very well, making them precise and efficient.CASE- The case that they come in is a nice touch. Im not sure if it's genuine leather, but it's the feels durable and the stitching is neat and even. Ita a great way to store and protect the set in between uses.SANITIZABLE- The state I work in requires that all implements be sanitized between clients, which requires washing by hand, and then being soaked in a very strong chemical. I have cycled this set of tweezers through that schedule at least 11 times so far, and have noticed no negative effects. No rust, no dulling of the blades, and no difference in the general 'smooth' feel when contracting the arms of the tweezers.OPINION:Nothing is more aggravating than tweezers that cannot grab and remove hair on the first attempt, but I have not had this issue at all with this set. The other issue that can often be experienced with precision tweezers is that the blades can be too 'sharp' which results in cutting the hair, not removing it. Others arent sharp enough, which results in breaking the hair without removing it. I rated this set so highly because none of the tweezers have any of the above issues. I've found that they are comfortable to use, very efficient, and durable. I have yet to find any product flaw in the design or use of the pointed, slanted or flat tipped tweezer, and the bonus case is a great addition. Please note that as a licensed cosmetologist, I have written this review from a personal AND professional standpoint. If I can help anyone with any more details then don't hesitate to comment. I do read and respond to review comments in an effort to help other shoppers. :)

Ground well with precise closure.
Works far better than grocery store tweezers and no more expensive. Bought a second set.

AUMELO Tweezers Set Do Work Well Even on Fine Hairs and Stubble
I shape my own eyebrows at home but lost my last pair of tweezers due to my teen daughter helping herself to my things, so I ordered these. One of my biggest pet peeves with tweezers is getting a pair that don't grip the hairs or make the hairs rip instead of pulling at the root. That is not the case with this tweezer set. I was able to grip stubble, fine hairs, and ingrown hairs. From where I tweeze my eyebrows but didn't exfoliate, I had the beginning of a hair bump forming. I was able to get the hair out with the pointed tip tweezers (third pair shown) and tweeze it from the root . I tested all four pair on different areas of my body and they all work but I am more of a fan of the first pair (narrow, flat tip and first pair shown).Pros:1) These tweezers do firmly grab, hold, and even remove fine hairs and stubble from the root.2) They come in a carrying case so you can keep up with them better.3) They come with protective coverings on the ends.4) You get four different pair of tweezers with a tip for different uses.Cons:1) The tips are really sharp (especially on the pointed tip pair) and should be kept away from children.A good pair of tweezers should be sharp to grip the hairs, so the only "con" I could think of was keeping them away from children. A child could definitely poke himself/herself in the eye or get hurt playing with these tweezers, so keep them put out of reach from little hands.

Useful tools, for the money.
These are about average , cheap but useful, I use them in my first aid kit to remove thorns and splinters. Good for the price.
