Have you seen that as an issue?** A: Some do and some don't. I've had several different types and this one is the only one that our red eared slider has not destroyed. When my turtle gets on this platforms it sinks to some degree but not to bad. Just have to make sure all parts are put together really well or they can get the pieces off. This is the best one that I've ever had. **Q: What's the tallest settting?** A: Hi Faith, Thanks for your question. The maximum height the Turtle Pier can adjust to is 16". **Q: are the legs on this platform removable? I currently use pvc tubing with 2 floating docks anchored on the side. of the tank** A: Yes **Q: would this fit in a 90 gallon tank?** A: yes, i have a 100 gallon tank that it fits in quite nicely, the only problem is that you cant have the water level above the top of the platform which is 2ish feet. so if you have a 4 foot tall aquarium, it could only be half full ## Frequently Bought Together - Penn-Plax Reptology Aquatic Turtle Pier and Basking Platform | Floating Above Tank | Decorative, Functional, and Naturally Inspired for Aquariums and Terrariums | Large Size (REP603) - Turtle Tank Filter Aquarium Filter Power Adjustable 30-55 Gal. 290GPH Large Internal Filter 3-Stage Waterfall Bio-Filtration Low Water Level for Freshwater Saltwater Fish Tank Reptile Shrimp Frog - PAIZOO Fish Tank Digital Thermometer Accurate LED Display to ±0.9°F Tank Thermometer Aquarium Temperature Measurement Suitable for Fish, Axolotl, Turtle or Aquatic --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/321153437-penn-plax-reptology-aquatic-turtle-pier-and-basking-platform-floating](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/321153437-penn-plax-reptology-aquatic-turtle-pier-and-basking-platform-floating) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
