Sewing for Beginners: Step-By-Step Guide to Hand Sewing & Sewing Machine: Knitting for Beginners

At first glance, this book seemed to be pretty good. The introduction (first couple of pages) is well written and that is what I was able to read in the preview prior to purchasing. However, once I ordered the book and received the hard copy, I started reading the rest of the book and it is very poorly written. I couldn't understand it, because the grammar is so bad. Don't waste your money--there are far better sewing books out there that are written AND edited by professionals that make sense when you read them.

Not helpful- had craft items in it like “duck tape coun purse”????

I was hoping for a book with pictures of the stitches used for hand sewing. There are written instructions but no pictures of any of the stitches. Not s good book for beginners. Waste of money!

There aren’t any pictures!! I need pictures to see how to do it, especially for a beginner. Don’t waste money.

I get this book from amazon and this guide for beginner's. I hope that's the perfect guide for you and us. It has included many informative ideas about Hand Sewing & Sewing Machine. I want to thanks for Author. Unique content book forever. Very helpful guide for all. I prefer this book. Prescribed !!

Booklet well made but lousy for beginners. No pictures or diagrams.

I read it, but I would not say it was super helpful and to call it step by step is a bit misleading
