Great spice ball!I make Vietnamese Pho on a weekly basis and this little gadget saves my life! It keeps all the herbs inside, but does a great job of infusing the soup. The size is also perfect. I am able to put pieces of ginger inside which makes straining the broth so much easier. I love the stainless steel design and the opening/closure is really secure and easy. The hook keeps the spice ball from sinking to the bottom so you can always fish it out easily. I can't live without this any more!

Read these reviews and other similar products with great interest, because I wanted to use this for something not reviewed - fruit infused water. I am happy to report it hangs perfectly in my 2 quart bottle, holds plenty of fruit to infuse quickly and keeps 98% of the pulp and all of the seeds out of the water without having to strain when pouring. I do sweeten the water with liquid stevia and when I replace with new fruit every 3-4 days, I get to have a yummy juicy fruit snack. Thank you Kuchenprofi for a quality product.

Ya i don't know what i was imagining when I picked 4" but it is HUGE (about 4" huge....). Completely my fault for lacking a good imagination lol but it looks very well made so I'm going to order the 2.5" one too!

pretty useful. but quite flimsy

Very cheaply and badly made. Nothing to grip when screwing and unscrewing the lid except the mesh and some wires sticking out cut my hand. Looks good in the picture and size is ideal for Vietnamese pho spices but crap materials and design. I wouldn't pay more than 1.50 if I was able to physically see it before buying. That's the downside of Amazon shopping, you don't always know what you're buying and easy to get swindled by crooks and chancers.

Ich würde mir diese Gewürzkugel definitiv wieder Kaufen, aber meine gekaufte ist bisher immer noch heile :-DIch habe meine nun schon ein paar Jahre in Benutzung und bis auf ein paar dellen des Drahtgitters(was aber normal und nicht schlimm ist / passiert durch das öffnen, da sollte man vorsichtig sein) ist alles bestens.Der Verschluss geht immer noch mit widerstand zu und die Kette ist auch noch nicht abgerissen.Das einzige was man gleich nach dem Kochen erledigen sollte, ist das reinigen.Die Kugel ist zwar in dem Moment heiß, aber es gibt ja Lappen die man danach wieder auswaschen kann.Ich öffne es gleich nach dem fertigen "Kochen" und reinige es mit einem normalen weichen Schwamm oder einem aus Draht.Denn wenn es erstmal angebackt ist, bekommt man es aus bestimmten ecken nicht mehr so einfach raus.Ich bewahre meine Gewürzkugel immer in der Originalverpackung auf, da man es so einfach besser im Schrank verstauen kann :-DAlle Bilder sind vom 03.10.2017, also quasi wie es "heute" aussieht.Gekauft hatte ich die Kugel am 13 Mai 2013.

.... first thing in that this "Ball" which I received are doesn't looks like in the picture at all. You can have the same (which I received) for £2.29. I am very disappointed and I do not recommend !!!!!

It was brilliant for my bath bombs , as I don't like bits floating round my bath and this solved the problem
