Q: How is this product with oily hair and hard water ?

I have used this shampoo and conditioner since 1987 and have loved it ever since!! It's wonderful for oily hair, you'll probably notice your hair not quite so oily after the first few washings. As for hard water it's really good. We have exceptionally hard water and I can go 3-4 days without need of another shampoo. It rinses "squeeky" clean which is why I suggest the conditioner as well as the shampoo.

Q: Is it truly fragrance free?

It claims to be fragrance-free, my doctor recommended these products for that reason, and I do not smell any fragrance. I have used them without problem, but I haven't done any chemical analysis, can only share my experience.

Q: does this contain zinc?

None of the Free and Clear or VaniCream that I’ve used have Zinc in the list of ingredients . Hope this helps..
