Logitech C260 Webcam

I mainly purchased this webcam to record videos for my business blog. I got so much more for the price! The picture quality is great and the ease of use is amazing. All I had to do was plug it in and it downloaded the drivers itself. In a matter of moments I was looking at myself on my laptop screen. I love this camera and it works wonderfully for my simple needs. It also works well with skype ( my sister quickly tested that feature). It also comes with logictech vid another video chat software, but so far I have not used it. This is definitely worth the purchase if you have simple needs.

I originally intended to buy something far cheaper, since my only plans were to livestream some gaming runs for friends online. However, this one caught my eye, since I've used other logitech products and have usually had no problems with them. As it turns out, while I had only mediocre hopes for how well this camera would work given that it was less than 30 dollars, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it arrive days earlier than expected, but it completely exceeded expectations. Set up was easy, just plug in and go, no need to install anything from the disc that came with it, though for those who want the programs included on the disc, they'll probably like those. The images from the camera were exceptionally clear, and did not distort the picture from the tv screen I was recording, and movement of myself and my cat when recording myself did not come across as jerky nor laggy to the people viewing. Everything was smooth and easy to see. The built in mic also works beautifully. My experience with cams that have mics built in is that they never work, however this camera's mic did. Not only was sound crystal clear, but the mic is VERY sensitive. I was able to speak to my friends from across the room, quietly, and still be heard quite clearly. I did not have to yell or get close to be heard, which is very nice. I was definitely very happy with this product, and I know that if I ever need a replacement I will be buying from them again; I've even got plans to give my father one for his birthday.

This was my first webcam. It has very good picture quality.I have only used it a few times but it is great to be able to see my (adult) kids when we talk. The installation (on Gmail) was pretty easy. The disk did all the work. I did have a minor problem and had to go into the Gmail settings to get it to work, but I am not very computer literate.My son-in-law was able to give me advice on how to change the setting, it was very straightforward. All in all I would recommend this, especially at the under $30 price I paid.

Finally decided to try Skype out, but notebook had no camera or microphone. Bought the Logitech 260 and gave it a try. Got to say that it works perfectly. Sound is true and clear, and the video is seamless. I like the auto light adjustment. Regardless of room light, I'm getting good video and pics. Was initially concerned, before receiving item, that it might not be as suitable as a more expensive Logitech webcam. When I contacted the seller, Direct Deals 4u, they responded quickly and the advice they gave, that the 260 worked great with Skype, was spot-on.

Longitech has never let me down before. This camura is nice, it is much better than most of the laptop built in ones. Its clear, it has "decent" audio, but i bought it mostly for the Video. This is great, the only thing that i was alittle picky about is that it did NOT appear like how it did in the picture. It has annimation and flowers on it and decoration which i was a bit mad at. If it wasn't for that then i would've gaven it a 5 star for performance. But i also give it a 1 star that it did not appear like how it did in the picture. Other then that its a steal and a great price for anyone who want a nice quality webcam. I would totally recommend it.

I have zero experience with webcams, let alone purchased one. I had it in the back of my mind that the video would be grainy and they wouldn't be too user friendly, and I thought those little ball-shaped cameras looked stupid, so I never got off my rear to look into them. As more of my friends and family starting using Skype, I spent an hour or so looking at different products, and considering price, features, and reviews, I bought this model. I've only used it a few times since purchase, but it's easy to setup and understand, gets along fine with my Dell Laptop and Desktops, takes great still pictures, and hasn't exhibited any glitches so far. On the other end people say the video looks good and sounds fine, so with my limited experience, I'm a happy camper with this Logitech so far.

I've been using this product since January 2011... and I've had absolutely zero issues. I've used it on an older Dell desktop computer, and I'm currently using it on a much newer HP desktop computer. I love the sound and image quality, and that's saying something, since the product is quite a few years old now! I've moved countless times with this webcam, once across the country, and it's held up perfectly. Nothing about this product is flimsy. Skyping with my friends and family back home is super easy, and I know they can always hear and see me perfectly. I used this a few times for college assignments, and noticed that at far distances, it tends to pick up things like the air conditioning noise, which makes the sound quality kind of shoddy. If you're sitting right in front of your computer, you won't have any issues. But if you're going to be using this from afar (like 10 feet away), just eliminate as much "background noise" as you can so it can pick up your voice properly.

The C 260 works very well and it is easy to get the computer to connect to it with the help of the software. What i love the most of this unit is the software that comes with it and the software that you get from the website Magix.com. The unit is smaller than what they show on the buy site but that could be a good thing so not to fall off the LCD. I have one problem with this unit and that is when you are using the fix on face option it zooms in and out to much so to keep your face in the middle of the screen and that would not be a bad thing if the movement was not so shaky. Over all i am happy with the C 260 and for the price you cannot go wrong buying it. BTW,,this is the first webcam that i have ever had and I think that i made the right choice in this Unit.

My PC is facing the window but this camera has no problem showing my face nice and bright even in sunny days. Extremely fast, no noticeable lag. Good buy especially when considering the price.
